The welcome from the staff was perfect. Everything was clearly explained. The room was adorable! I loved sitting out on the balcony and admiring the beautiful views. The breakfast was delicious! Lovely staff, perfect place to stay.

Warm atmosphere and super kind service

The prior communication was very direct and the arrival was easy. The owner welcomed us and answered all our questions about the area, where to go for a hike, what to see on a rainy day, gave us a map, organized a table in a restaurant closeby, etc. Thank you so much! The room was nice, the view stunning and breakfast was delicious. It was a great stay, highly recommended!

Lovely short break in Toggenburg, Eastern Switzerland

Gasthaus Friedegg is a lovely property in a beautiful part of Switzerland. It's located ideally for outdoor activities like skiing, snowshoeing or hiking. Daniel, the owner, is a very friendly host who is helpful and extremely knowledgeable about his region. He also makes a mean müesli, which is part of an abundant and tasty breakfast. The B&B is spotless and very well kept, and most of the rooms are recently renovated. All in all I recommend Friedegg and hope to return soon.

Prima hotel met de bergen rondom.

Uitzicht op de Churfürsten Centrale ligging om van daaruit met wandelingen te starten Ontbijt met joghurt van de mölkerei en vers fruit.

De overnachting is zeker niet goedkoop en dan is een parkeerplaats van CHF 7 wat overdreven.

Ho apprezzato tutto, è stato un piacevole investimento.

La camera Nr. 4 è accogliente, luminosa, tranquilla, ha un'ottima vista, un bel bagno ed un bellissimo balcone. Godermi la colazione sulla terrazza è stato magnifico anche perché il cibo era di sana qualità e l'espresso ben fatto! In generale tutto l'ambiente mi ha trasmesso un senso di pulito e cura per il dettaglio. Mi sono sentita bene, i colori armoniosi e allegri hanno certamente contribuito a creare un bel ricordo dell'esperienza.

El ambiente de todo el edificio transmite una sensación especial, de calma, elegancia y cuidado por los detalles. Las instalaciones son excelentes, cómodas y decoradas con muy buen gusto, pero lo que realmente eleva la experiencia es el trato humano. Ausserordentlich schönes B&B Haus an super Lage. Ideal als Ausgangspunkt für den Klangweg Toggenburg. Reichhaltiges Frühstück mit Zutaten nach Wunsch. Sehr persönliche und ausserordentlich freundliche Gastgeber.

Heerlijk verblijf met de Zwitserse vriendelijkheid

Geweldig mooi gebouw, authentiek met prachtige gerenoveerde kamers. Heerlijke luxe kamer met prachtige douche gelegenheid. Van alle gemakken voorzien, een huiskamer waar gratis koffie/thee kan worden gepakt. Een bar met allerlei dranken, vrij te pakken maar even een opschrijven op je kamernummer. Ontbijt lekker met heerlijk brood en beleg, allerlei streekproducten en een (gebakken) eitje als je dat wenst. Heel attent personeel en bijzonder vriendelijk. Wij hadden kamer 6 met een heerlijk balkon met 2 ligbedden waar we konden genieten van het uitzicht over de Alpen weide. Diverse andere kamers zijn ook met balkon maar die zijn alleen voorzien van een zitje waarbij het uitzicht uiteraard niet anders is.

Ich habe mich wohlgefühlt in der Friedegg und das vorzügliche Frühstück sehr genossen.

Das Haus verströmt eine einladende Atmosphäre. Von aussen ein Bijou ist es inwendig mit viel Liebe und Stil eingerichtet. Leider hatte ich zu wenig Zeit, die Gemeinschaftsräume mit interessanten Büchern oder einem Glas Wein zu geniessen. Das Frühstück mit selbst ausgewählten regionalen Zutaten schmeckte vorzüglich. Von den selbst gemachten Konfitüren habe ich bei der Abreise zwei erworben. Der Skilift ist nach einem kurzen Fussmarsch erreichbar. Daniel Forrer ist ein sehr angenehmer und aufmerksamer Gastgeber. Gerne komme ich wieder.

KINDERHASSER und Jähzorniger Eigentümer. Noch bevor wir das Haus betreten haben, würden wir angemeckert warum wir da Parken, ob wir etwa in diesem Hotel schlafen. Sehr unfreundlich. Wollte dann 50 CHF Aufpreis für die beiden Kinder. 25 CHF für einen 2jährigen, der ein Stück Brot zum Frühstück isst und nicht mehr! Haben den Tisch am weitesten vom Fenster bekommen. Das Frühstück war sehr mager, wir hatten danach noch Hunger. Und bei einer Übernachtung die 270chf kostet war die Seife im Badezimmer leer. Nicht zu empfehlen, auch nicht ohne Kinder.
