Very nice hotel close to the ski lift

We made a last-minute reservation for two nights in February and chose this hotel mainly for its convenient location near the Wildhaus lift. The access to the slopes was indeed very easy, as the ski bus stop was right outside the hotel. As a family of three, we had to book two room(one double and one single). The double room was very nice—warm, cosy, and comfortable—while the single room on the upper floor was a bit cooler and had shared bathroom facilities (which we were aware of at the time of booking). The breakfast was excellent, and had everything you expect to find in a buffet type of breakfast. The restaurant on the ground floor served very nice food as well. The staff were very friendly and responded promptly when we mentioned the heating issue in the upper room. Overall, it’s a very pleasant hotel with great service and a perfect location. I would definitely consider staying here again in the future.

The area on the upper floor with the single room felt a bit less cosy than the rest of the hotel, but it still offered all the facilities we needed.

Great breakfast

Our stay exceeded expectations in every way. Breakfast was a delightful surprise — not only was it included, but it offered a delicious variety that set a great tone for the day. The staff were truly exceptional: warm, friendly, and always ready to help, which made us feel genuinely welcome throughout our visit. The room was spotless and the bed very comfortable, making for a restful night's sleep. We loved the hotel's central location in a picturesque and peaceful village, with convenient parking right next to the building. The interior was inviting and full of character, giving the whole place a cozy, homey feel. Though we stayed in a room with a shared bathroom, it was never busy during our stay, so it felt quite private. It's worth noting that these rooms are up two flights of stairs, as there’s no lift — something to consider if mobility is a concern. However, the rooms with private ensuite bathrooms are only one flight up. A pleasant bonus was a lounge area on the upper floor. One thing to be aware of is the nearby church, which rings its bells starting at 6 a.m. It added to the village charm for us, but light sleepers may want to bring earplugs. As for the pool, we didn’t use it because it was not heated All in all, this was a comfortable and very enjoyable stay. We’d happily return!

In the middle of the town, easy access to the ski area (by bus or car). Good children food options for dinner.

Exceptional food, clean and cosy rooms, great ambient atmosphere as there are so many little nice details here and there.

Lady at the reception desk was making faces and made an impression she’s disturbed and annoyed instead of making us feel welcome. Other than that it’s a great place to stay.

Restaurant and check-in staff is very kind and helpful. Located at the heart of the area, everything is reachable by foot. Espectacular views and excellent food at the breakfast and dinner. Nice indoor pool and sauna facilities. Cost is very good compared to the quality of service.

Gerne wieder.

Das Hotel war sauber, das Personal freundlich und das Frühstücksbüffet gut ausgestattet. Die Bushaltestelle direkt vor dem Haus war praktisch.

Leider waren keine Bademäntel oder Badeschlappen im Zimmerpreis inkludiert. Das haben die Fotos des Zimmers anders erwarten lassen. Aber das war auch schon der einzige wirklich „negative“ Punkt.

Gutes Preisleistungsverhältnis und freundliche Gastgeber

Freundlicher Empfang. Das Frühstück war fein, mit regionalen Produkten. Entgegenkommend bei früheren Frühstückszeiten ab 7.15 statt 8h . Bett war sehr gut, das Zimmer geschmackvoll und relativ neu saniert. Alles sehr sauber, gute Lage für ÖV-Nutzerinnen. kleines Schwimmbad inklusive, gute Preis-Leistung.

im Sommer hätte ich gern die Möglichkeit, noch früher zu frühstücken, da ich da auch schon um 6 Uhr aufbreche.. Am ersten Morgen war nicht ersichtlich, dass man für Eier fragen muss.. , die Schale dafür blieb einfach leer. Die Kirchenglocken nachts.... Im Zimmer knappe Aufhängemöglichkeiten: nur 1 Haken.

Der Aufenthalt hat rundum gepasst.

Sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal. Essen war rundum saisonal, frisch und mit Liebe gekocht. Wellnessbereich angenehm. Hier macht ein Lufterfrischer ev. Sinn, da es kein Fenster hat. (Angenehmerer Duft)

Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr reichhaltig und beinhaltete auch eine eine Reihe Schweizer Käsespezialitäten. Ebenfalls gut: Die Auswahl an Tees. Es gab zudem kostenlose Parkplätze für die Hotelgäste.

Ich hatte ein preiswertes Zimmer mit Etagendusche und -WC gebucht. In beiden dieser Räume war es Glückssache, ob sich die Türen von Innen verschließen ließen oder nicht. Wohl deshalb hatte das Hotelmanagement dort laminierte "Besetzt!"- und "Frei!"-Schilder aufgehängt, die man vor und nach dem Benutzen der Räumlichkeiten in die richtige Position drehen musste - was vielleicht eher dem Charakter eines Hostels als dem eines (immerhin) 3-Sterne-Hotels entspricht.

Ich hatte schwarze Haare im Bett. Die Heizung unterhalb des Bettes war sehr verdreckt. Die Tür von der Toilette lassen sich nicht schließen. Da hängt ein Schild das es besetzt ist falls man zu Toilette muss.

Die WC Türe auf der Etage konnte man nicht schliessen da das Schloss kaputt ist…. und dies schon länger! Geht har nicht! Es wurde niergelds erwähnt dass eine Kirche jede 1/4 std. schlägt und das die ganze Nacht! Pure Ruhestörung
