Price was reasonable at £117 for a large room compared to other hotels.
The view was not at all what we expected. We had booked this hotel only on the views shown online. We had a building site and because of the lack of curtains and blinds which closed from above there was no way to obscure the builders yard in order to see the mountains we could see a bit. Also, as the sun went down we had to close the blinds anyway as it was blaring in and heating the room meant it was far too hot. There was a large fan provided in the room. I contacted the owners via whatsApp - they are not on site, indeed no staff are there, security here relies on trust with everyones keys in an envelope with your surname on it. Not keen on this either. Also we arrived to a propped open door after climbing the stairs wondering if we were in the right place. On the floor below a sheet was covering the doorway into an office block. So, on contacting the owners, who were friendly and said I could have a full refund and go elsewhere, I discovered there was no other room available as they were only operating 5 rooms currently. They said they would look into charging different rates for the rooms given ours didn't have the nice view - I note it is carefully cropped on photos here. Coke, coffee and sweet treats were available in the windowless kitchen area but the 'kitchen' is poorly equipped for any sort of self catering - not even a bread knife - and you could only cook via a microwave. Sweets everywhere and coke not encouraging of healthy eating/drinking either and just a bit gimmicky I'm afraid to say. Sorry, but this was not a good stay and the enormous TV straddling two cafe style tables in the bedroom was the final eyesore in a hotel which prides itself on views. Sorry to say this is the lowest score we have ever given but this was our experience, and we are extremely well travelled. Photos below:
