Nice clean hotel with a good restaurant and close to the train. Plus there's a good Irish bar very close

Great stopping point confortable and nice food

The location of the hôtel The welcome from the staff both at checkin, the evening meal, breakfast and checkout. Very friendly. M'y limited german meant i couldnt have a discussion but all the staff were patient and understanding. The food and breakfast was good and plentiful. There is parking that is free. The rooms have tea coffee kettle and a good shower. The bed was very confortable and large. A supermarket is about 1.5 kms and walkable. Excellent place to stay

Some guests returning to their rooms at night were noisy and woke us up (not that well sound proofed).

Fantastic views and excellent service made this trip a wonderful memory.

The rooms are spacious and have all the amenities needed. Beds are comfortable. The bust stop was at the property which was perfect for us.

The staff could not be more helpful and friendly. The location was excellent for exploring the area. Plenty of parking. Well equipped apartments.

The only thing to be aware of is that the hotel is on the main road. You can hear some traffic noise, although not excessive.

very nice place to stay and great pizzas

the room is basic but it has everything you need. it is comfortable and free parking is a plus. additionally their restaurant had a glass window to a goat barn. very cute! Doris who met me helped me a lot with my infected eye. I think she went some extra miles to help me and later checked on me. she brought me fruit basket. she is amazing!

not all staff was fluent in English.

Perfect.

We couldn't be happier with our choice for our short stay during the time of the Rock the Hell festival. The staff wrote to us a few days before our arrival and provided some information that I requested. They were able to accommodate our late check-in and we made arrangements for our early check out as well with no issues. We ate there for breakfast the first morning and loved the options for a very typical Swiss breakfast. We ate there for lunch/dinner on two occassions and again, it was all amazing. They even let us have a breakfast as we were running late! Don't forget to see the two goats in the adjacent room in the dining area! Great staff. Great ammenities with an amazing view and access to some very nice go-to places for the region. Amazing food. We really couldn't ask for a better experience. Would not hesitate to stay there again.

There is absolutely nothing we didn't like. We really felt at home at this location. We even got to hang out with a staffer, Sandra, at the festival. Highly recommended to anyone.

Definitely the best choice for this area!

Very beautiful area with stunning views, also quiet, despite being near the main street and close to ski resorts. The room was very clean, well-equipped and comfortable. The staff was very nice and helpful (even with my poor German I did not have any problems). The free Wi-Fi was enough for normal usage (news, emails, etc.). Free parking spaces next to the building. Breakfast was delicious, with a lot of products to choose from, including Swiss cheeses, hams and different types of bread.

I cannot find any significant drawbacks. The parking space might be too small, when more guests will arrive (5-6 places in total) or maybe I would add a more comfortable thing for sitting (armchair or something). But this is picking on, everything was great.

Great views, excellent location, a very decent Swiss resturant.

It was those peak summer days and the night was horrible since we had no fans provided and even they did not give any summer blankets. Lots of summer bees creeped inside the apartment though it hummed sweetly and managed to disturb our sleep after day long trek.

Lovely stay

The apartment was clean, bright, kitchen well equipped and larger than expected. The owner was very helpful and welcoming. We were explained and well informed about the local area/hiking/skiing on arrival and all of our questions were answered during our holiday stay very promptly. The bus stop is right in front of the hotel which was very convenient. The mountain view from the apartment was really nice. Skiing slopes and hiking trails are near by. The Coop, restaurants, shops were only 1 or 2 bus stops away. The Santis is only 30-40 mins drive.

Sehr freundliches Personal, gutes Restaurant und ein super Frühstück. Das Hotel selbst ist zwar schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber alles war tipptopp sauber und die Preis Leistung echt in Ordnung.

Sehr zuvorkommendes und kompetentes Personal. Liebevoll und fein zubereitetes Essen, gutes Frühstück. Sauberes Zimmer mit guten Betten und angenehmer Dusche. Sehr faire Preise. Direkt an der Bushaltestelle, aber wenig Strassenlärm.

Am allermeisten vermisse ich das Frühstück, was ich mir selbst, am Büffet, zusammen stellen konnte. Den exzellenten Käse, das Obst, den Naturjoghurt, Nüsse, den Saft, und nicht zu vergessen, das fluffige, frisch gebackene Brot (dabei bin ich gar kein Brotesser, aber dazu konnte ich hier NICHT „nein“ sagen!) … War eine wirklich erholsame, genussvolle Auszeit. Schade, dass es nur 3 Tage waren. Man könnte sich daran gewöhnen …

Einfache ruhige Unterkunft mit guten Service

Kleines, feines Einzelzimmer in absolut ruhiger Lage - direkt mit Blick auf eine Ziegenweide vor dem Fenster, was für eine herrliche Atmosphäre! Das große Bett unterm Dachfenster war ein echtes Highlight - nachts konnte man die Sterne sehen. Das Restaurant ist sehr gut, der Kaffee lecker und das Frühstücksbuffet reichhaltig. Besonders schön: Der freundliche Service und das frisch zubereitete Omelett ganz nach Wunsch. Ein perfekter Ausgangspunkt für traumhafte Wanderungen in der Umgebung - ich komme gerne wieder!

Gastfreundschaft genossen, Frühstück top, in die Möblierung müsste investiert werden

Sehr freundlicher Empfang mit spührbar gelebter Gastfreundschaft vom Personal bis Besitzerin. Das Frühstück möchte ich besonders hervorheben und als sehr gut bezeichnen, hätte dies in dieser Kategorie nicht erwartet. Da ich leider nur jeweils über Nacht/Frühstück da war kann ich ansonsten keine Aussagen machen.

Das Mobiliar ist etwas in's "Alter" gekommen, das Bett mit Bettgestell am Fussende schränkt doch schon sehr ein....für grössere Menschen könnte es nicht passen. Ich denke es braucht nicht alles immer neu zu sein, wenn ich auf Riccardo mir ansehe welches Mobiliar da für ein paar Franken zu haben sind, würde meinen dass das Zimmer mit paar Franken wieder ganz passabel wären

Das Nachtessen war sehr fein und es hat eine grosse Auswahl an Menus. Guter Service. Morgenessen bekamen wir ein Lunchpaket da wir sehr früh zu einer Wanderung starten mussten.

Grosszügig und zuvorkommendes Landgasthaus

Wunderbare Aussicht auf die (Höhenfeuer) Kurfürst, optimale Lage, um die Bergwelt des Togenburgs zu erkunden. Wir waren leider nur zum übernachten da und mussten früh los. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, ein tolles Käseplättchen wurde auf die grossen Zimmer geliefert und auch fürs Frühstück wurden wir mit einem Znünibeutel ausgestattet. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

المكان هادئ جميل نظيف لكن بعيد عن الفعاليات وفي الليل مظلم ولاترى احد

المكان هادئ ونظيف وجميل والموظفين بشوشين ومعاملتهم ممتازه وفيه مطعم يديرونه جميل وحلو يوجد سوبر ماركت قريب فقط ثلاث دقايق بالسياره

المكان مرتفع وبعيد عن الفعاليات لايصلح للمسافرين العرب اذا ذهبت الى اي مكان سياحي امشي مسافه بعيده حيث يبعد عن شلال الراين ساعه ونصف وزيورخ كذلك فلا انصح فيه الا للاسترخاء فقط
