Great hotel at an amazing location

Great beds, great spa, and a great restaurant

The temperature in the room was too warm and not controllable. Also, the flies are extreme annoying. This is not the restaurant/hotel’s fault, but there was nothing to prevent it

unfortunately I did not have the possibility to enjoy everything long enough because I attended a workshop till late in

the room

i closed the bathroom and toilet door from the outside and could not open it anymore: to went into red. so at midnight I had to go to the bar - luckily someone was still there and could open it for me.

Beautiful mountain stay

We stayed with our 4 children (ages 12, 11, 9, 6). We all loved the breakfast--so much to choose from. The location was great for us to ski Chaserrug (we were able to ski from the resort direct to the hotel, but needed a shuttle in the morning due to thinning snow). Our kids loved the children's playroom in the basement. My husband and I enjoyed the spa/sauna area as well.

The servise in the hotel restaurant was disappointing. We waited very long for ordering and were already considering to leave when finally the food arrived after an hour.

The breakfast buffet was excellent. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The spa/wellness area was clean and nicely decorated and had some food/drinks available. The surrounding mountains were beautiful and the walks well maintained, even in deep snow.

Komfortables und gemütliches Hotel mit professionellem, freundlichem und stets hilfsbereitem Personal, das bemüht ist, den Gästen jeden Wunsch zu erfüllen. Sehr gutes Restaurant mit schmackhaftem Essen und ebenso kompetentem und angenehmem Servicepersonal wie im Hotel. Insgesamt eine sehr positive Erfahrung, die dazu führt, dass man mit einem guten Gefühl nach Hause zurückkehrt.

Entspannung und Entschleunigung in sehr ruhiger Umgebung mit idyllischer Natur

Wunderschöne, ruhige Lage, wenige Fussminuten vom idyllischen Schwendisee und dem Toggenburger Klanghaus entfernt. Ein Frühstücksbuffet das keinen Wunsch offen lässt, inklusive Panoramasicht auf den Säntis. Das Business-Einzelzimmer mit der grossen Fensterfront, dem Balkon und dem Blick in die Natur war der absolute Hit. Es war bis ins letztes Detail sehr liebevoll und praktisch gestaltet und duftete nach frischem Holz. Der grosszügige Wellnessbereich mit Dachsauna hat mich auch sehr angesprochen. Wer mit den Postauto anreist, wird an der Haltestelle vom freundlichen Personal kostenlos mit dem Hotelbus abgeholt.

Fantastisch

Heerlijke kamer!! Gratis gebruik van de wellness. Super mooie ligging. Smakelijk ontbijtbuffet. Kom graag ook eens in het voorjaar/zomer terug. Hond vriendelijk.

Op de dag van aankomst viel er enorm veel sneeuw. Dan is het erg lastig om bij de accommodatie te komen ivm de steile en smalle toegangsweg. Gelukkig tipte een bewoonster mij het hotel te bellen en te vragen naar vervoer met 4WD. Dit werkte perfect. Ik liet mijn eigen auto beneden in het dal staan. Wel veel trappen in het hotel, dit was voor mijn oudere hond een uitdaging.

Was für eine tolle Überraschung - ich erhielt ein Upgrade in ein neues, modernes und helles Zimmer mit Balkon! Die Sicht war aussergewöhnlich, auf die Berge und das Klanghaus. Der Schwendisee in 5 Minuten erreichbar und nach dem Spaziergang kann man das gemütliche Wellness geniessen. Das Personal ist sehr nett und das Frühstück lecker, einfach top.

Gutes Hotel in Gehdistanz zum Klanghaus Toggenburg. Freundliche Mitarbeitende. Gutes Essen.

Das Hotel liegt direkt neben dem neuen Klanghaus Toggenburg und es ist super dort zu übernachten, damit man nach einem Konzert im Klanghaus nicht nach Hause fahren muss. Das Frühstück ist sehr reichhaltig und der Fitnessraum mit allen erforderlichen Geräten ausgestattet. Es hat drei multifunktionale Kraftmaschinen, die ein Ganzkörpertraining ermöglichen. Die Mitarbeitenden sind sehr freundlich und wir haben gut gegessen im Restaurant. Das Hotel ist sicherlich auch eine gute Ausgangslage für Wanderungen und für Wintersport, was wir aber nicht gemacht haben.

Toller Kurzurlaub

Kurzentschlossen konnten wir noch in Stumps Alpenrose reservieren. Wir freuten uns auf 2 tolle Tage im Toggenburg. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und konnten das Zimmer termingerecht beziehen. Sogar für unseren Hund war ein Bettli und 2 Näpfe bereit. Die Betten waren ausserordentlich bequem und dufteten angenehm frisch. Für das Wellness war für jeden Gast eine Tasche mit Tüechli und ein Bademantel bereit um die grosse Wellnessoase zu geniessen. Es wurden auch verschiedene Sorten Tee im Ruheraum angeboten. Einfach klasse! Das Abendessen haben wir im Restaurant eingenommen. Wir haben uns mit einem feinen Wildmenue und einer Flasche Hauswein verwöhnen lassen. Nach einer ruhigen und erholsamen Nacht konnten wir am wunderbaren Zmorgenbuffet den vielen Leckereien nicht wieder stehen und genossen dies in vollen Zügen. Herzlichen Dank für die Gastfreundschaft. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Sam (Flat coated Retriver) wird uns gerne Begleiten. Auch er war willkommen. Danke!
