Everything that a lakeland should be, is exhibited in The Queen’s Head. Cosy, fantastic bar, warm welcome and terrific food.
Only fault in common with most hotels were the hotel room temperatures. Despite turning off radiators, it took hours to become restful.

The gorgeous location and building, rooms, restaurant and pub are lovely. Food is fantastic, large portions so excellent value for money.
Maybe a little overpriced compared to similar properties. But the whole place and especially the staff made it well worth it.

Poor breakfast and diners. There were issues with the cooks and this has heavily impacted us. We’ve booked 5 nights including breakfast and the hotel has not been able to provide decent breakfast at least 3 mornings in a row. Without mentioning that the coffee machine worked and we have been told that it was broken.
We did like that our issue has not been sorted and the hotel was supposed to come back to us and so far nothing has been delayed with.
