Fabulous breakfast with the added touch of home made yogurts and a great choice of hot mains. Breakfast is served in a lovely room/garden conservatory. Also home baked cakes being placed in reception area for you to take to your room after a day out is a lovely thoughful gesture.. Lovely warm, friendly welcome from all staff when we arrived/departed, and throughout our stay. Great comfy room with the added bonus of patio doors opening out onto a flat top roof with a couple of chairs. The hotel has lovely quirky features and is In a fabulous position in Grasmere, with all bars/restaurants a very short walk away.

The hotel is very comfortable. Breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice. The staff are so hospitable and made our stay special.

Excellent location, spotlessly clean even though we were in a dog room there was no trace of any other dog who had previously stayed.
The breakfast was exceptional and the staff couldn't do enough for you. We will definitely return soon.
