Arte Vida made us feel like a local!

Arte Vide is a very comfortable apartment in a most convenient location in the Altstadt. The popular city sights are easily within reach, either on foot or with public transport. Alina our host welcomed us warmly and helped with any request we made. The apartment is beautifully decorated, has a spacious bedroom and well appointed kitchen and bathroom. We really enjoyed our stay here. Highly recommend.

A great stay and wonderful host!

The studio apartment was stylish and comfortable for our party of 3. The host, Alina, was warm and welcoming, and we loved visiting with her cat, Maya, who was hanging around outdoors. The location was ideal, near the train station and walkable to many sites in Salzburg. We would be happy to stay here again, and highly recommend it!

Affordable stay in the heart of old town perfect for a family.

Location is fantastic, lots of room for our family of 5. Had everything we needed.

Nothing! There is no elevator and the unit is on the top floor. This is not a bad thing, just something to be aware of if you have mobility issues.

Delightful and very enjoyable!

What a gem this apartment is!! I wish I could live here. Everything was excellent, Having a washing machine was great. The location was convenient with bus just around the corner. Mirrabell gardens next door. Great view out the window. I cant find anything negative to say. A few flights of stairs to reach the apartment, but if you have no knee issues you'll be fine.

A little gem in the city of Salzburg

Just loved this boutique guest house. It was traditional with beautiful wooden floors that creaked and french windows that you could open wide and watch the world go by down below. It is right on the edge of the old city and round the corner from Mozart’s birthplace. Restaurants and coffee shops are only metres away. Super quiet at night. There is also a lovely outdoor space with a Moroccan style tent to sit and relax in. We stayed on the 2nd floor in a one bedroom apartment which was so spacious and clean. There is also a washing machine which is very helpful after 3 weeks of travel. Would recommend this place in a heartbeat

Top tip rather than a dislike. Travel light as there is no lift at the premises so you have to carry your luggage up several flights of stairs

Beautiful and spacious property, would easily have held 5 people. One double, three singles. Very accommodating staff.

When you unload, make sure someone stays with the car to move it, or you pull all the way off the street so cars can get by.

Excellent location, spacious, clean and homely apartment serves as a fabulous base for exploring Salzburg.

Superb location! Spacious apartment and very clean. Lovely touch with a bottle of wine waiting in the fridge and basic provisions supplied such as coffee, sugar and condiments. Lots of steps to get to it but no problem for us. We arrived on hottest day of the year so it was warm but the AC unit in the living space was very effective. The fan in the bedroom wasn’t quite enough. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay at Arte Vide and would recommend for families of up to 5 people.

Wonderful manager and great location

- My wife and I stayed in the studio apartment for 2 nights in early May. The apartment feels like a home and we enjoyed the eclectic decorations and natural light coming in the windows. The location is also great, close to many restaurants and it was easy to use the public transportation to get to old Salzburg. - Alina, the manager, is great. She communicated before we arrived to let us know that the property could store our bags before we checked in and after we checked out. (If you need to leave your luggage before you can check in or after you check out, there are bicycle locks with cables that you can use on one of the landings to secure your bags.) She kindly made dinner reservations for us at Johanneskellar after we discovered that the restaurant only takes telephone reservations. She was there to greet us when we arrived and gave us an overview of the area. She let us know where to find the nearest Spar grocery store and recommended an excellent Austrian restaurant called Zum fidelen Affen for dinner.

As other reviewers have noted, the apartment does have very creaky wood floors. While we were there, the church bells from the nearby Dreifaltigkeitskirche started ringing at 7 am so bring ear plugs.

Wonderful Apartment in the Heart of Salzburg!

Great comfy beds, perfect for a group of 3! The host was wonderful and provided us with a few drinks and basic kitchen supplies! Wonderful location steps away from all of Salzburg! Two great fans are in the room for hot nights!

Location is perfect in the best place. Room was nice and clean. Owner was super nice. She took us to the parking to get a big discount for us very early in the morning. Initially the living room bed was a bit hard but we used an extra mattress and then it was perfect.

Great apartment in a wonderful location

Excellent location for sightseeing in downtown Salzburg. Evening overlooking the courtyard to Mozart's old home. Spacious and modern apartment. We meet the host on the way walking to the room. She was very courteous, showed us around the room, and arranged a taxi to pick us up on our last day.

Hot water for the shower was a little sparse. We arrived at the beginning of a cold spell so the room temperature was more comfortable for our stay. The main room has a portable in room air conditioner. The apartment is in the attic. The air conditioner does well for some mild attic heat, but I would be concerned if you were experiencing real heat. Since it was a little cooler during our stay, the portable AC unit still worked well.

Comfortable, City center vibes with amazing welcoming warmth in this place

Centrally located. It had the vibe of the city. The place has a culture and speaks about its host. Was not just another tourist place. Carefully chosen interior decoration, paintings, curios - everything spoke about the touch of the host. Very cozy and family friendly - most welcoming place that I have stayed in this vacation. It gets very warm in this season so they had provided a fan, which was a great relief.

Amazing location, very friendly host, perfectly clean

The only small downside were the stairs (which we knew about in advance!) and the lack of air conditioning. The small unit did not do much and we just happened to be there at a very hot time. It was fine after the sun went down but warm in the day. But it was a small issue when everything else was great!

The host left clear instructions about how to get the keys. When she heard us, she immediately met us and introduced herself. She was caring and kind.

The only downside the property had was that the tub was a bit high, so to get in and out can be difficult. Also, the tub was very slippery.

Absolutely central, spacious, clean, safe apartment. Comfortable bed and pillows. Tones of hot water in the bathroom. Few minutes walk to all major attractions. Plenty of very good restaurants nearby. Alina is a great host, met us in person: thank you for all, we would love to come back!

Loved our stay at arte Vida

Fantastic, cosy, warm attic house. It's spacious, and we had a great time staying at arte de vida with our friends. So close to everything. Couldn't have asked for a better stay at Salzburg. I had a small cut and the host was really sweet to help with the first aid kit and Wine bottle and chocolates to cheer me up. That was a very warm and sweet gesture.

Nothing not to like , unfortunately the weather was way too hot and the cooler wasn't as effective with keeping the place cool. But then the host had kept 2 to 3 fans, so it was okay.

Great location, quirky and well worth a visit

The location is perfect for a short sightseeing break, easy to get to from the station and just a short walk to the sights and restaurants. The garden is a lovely peaceful oasis in the city and the host was fantastic, nothing was too much trouble

Spacious, clean, unmatched location.

The location was exceptional. You could see a small square from your window and walk right into the city's historical center. Great bar (Darwin's) just a few steps away, and multiple restaurant options. There was way more than enough room for two people.
