APT. STONE-LODGE

Our stay in the Green Room was just perfect. Most European accommodations are quite snug, but this apartment was roomy enough to easily lay out suitcases and put toiletries by the bathroom sink. There were ample espresso pods, sugar, and creamers (plus tea), enough for more than one cup of coffee for two people per day. The neighborhood has a distinctly old town feel and the building really is constructed into the face of a cliff. We could walk to all destinations or easily access public transport. The bed was very comfortable, and the windows opened for moments of fresh air. All appliances and bathroom features were modern and in good working order. The access to a rooftop terrace was a nice touch. We just loved our visit to Salzburg.

The property was in a great location that allows you to walk everywhere. Restaurants and stores are nearby in addition to all the tourist sites. Street is very quiet and room was spacious. We loved the rooftop terrace with amazing views of the city. Host was very responsive.

Parking can be a bit of a challenge but do reach out to them for recommendations. They gave multiple parking suggestions and were able to accommodate us.

The location was central to old town

Please be aware if booking this property that there is no air conditioning.. the room was quite stuffy and hot, particularly throughout the day. The ceiling heights are very low which made us feel a little claustrophobic when in the room. It was also very difficult getting our suitcases up an extremely steep staircase. We’ve traveled throughout Europe extensively and haven’t encountered one so steep and as there’s no staff onsite to assist, you need to be aware of this.
