Above and Beyond Hospitality in Salzburg Home Apartments

We had a wonderful stay at Home Apartments in Salzburg. Anita, our host, was absolutely amazing. Upon arrival, she personally greeted us at the apartment, gave us a thorough orientation of the facilities, and provided a map with clear directions to the nearby bus stop. She even arranged bus tickets for us, which made commuting in and out of town incredibly easy. Anita went above and beyond by supplying fresh fruit, nuts, milk, coffee, tea, wine, and even champagne — such a thoughtful and generous touch. Her husband was also very hospitable and kindly gave us a ride in his taxi, which was greatly appreciated. The apartment itself was impeccably clean and had all the amenities one could need. The kitchen was well equipped, with cooking facilities and thoughtful basic supplies available to prepare a meal, even though we didn’t end up using them. The location was very convenient — only about a 10-minute walk from Salzburg Hauptbahnhof. We would definitely recommend staying here and would love to return in the future.

Comfortable and cozy little place. It grows on you.

Great host and a good clean apartment. Apartment was stocked with daily need items like coffee and tea. Short walk to the station. Host was extremely helpful and took care of all our needs. She even gave us a lift to the station and helped us carry the luggage to the second floor apartment. Can’t thank her enough.

Hit our head on the Slanted ceiling at the the top floor penthouse if we are not careful. Bathroom was a little cramped but utilitarian. Top floor penthouse doesn’t have a terrace or a balcony.

Excellent, comfortable

Apartment and cutlery are clean. It has everything that we need for cooking, washing, microwave, dishwasher etc. Heating is also sufficient. It is a short walk (10-15 mins) to the train station. There are restaurants nearby within 5-7 mins walk. It is also easily accessible by bus from the station (5 stops)- Bus 120/12, if you have a handfuls. Anita is an excellent host - very prompt in replying, always helpful, quick to respond to requests and extremely friendly. She gave us a lift to the train station upon checking out, which is much appreciated as we have 3 luggage and 3 small bags and 3 hand-carry

Nothing, really. Perhaps hanging some small mirrors on the wall along the walkway or in the 2nd room may be helpful for putting on make up, shaving, applying moisturizer etc. But the lack of this does not affect the overall experience - still a great stay 😃

Wonderful stay in magical Salzburg!

Anita was so lovely. She was so helpful in helping us get settled and allowed us to have an early check-in. The apartment was very spacious and very clean. We truly enjoyed our stay and I highly recommend this apartment.

It was a bit of a hike from Old Town but close to the train station so that made it convenient for us.

Great stay in Salzburg , highly recommended

Anita was very helpful and went above and beyond ! The suite was larger than it looked online . Anita offered us a ride to the train station . There was tea, coffee & milk in the suite . She sent us the tourist mobility pass . Anita gave us recommendations for restaurants.She left me a lovely treat for my birthday .

Comfortable and clean apartment!

The apartment was a fantastic find—spacious, clean, and comfortable. Anita was an incredibly kind, friendly, and accommodating host; she even picked us up from the train station! The space was perfect for our small family. The location was great for exploring, with a simple 20-minute walk to the Old Town. Plus, there were some handy spots nearby: a kebab stand right across the street, a supermarket two blocks away, and Indigo, a healthy restaurant right next to it. The yard is very cute and meticulously maintained. Thank you Anita!

The best place in my whole travelling life experience!

In 15 years of travelling, I have never experienced accommodation like this. Clean, as you could eat from the floor, equipment beyond expectations with many extra curtesies and the host, Anita, just the most amazing person, polite, well prepared with practical tips, recommendations that made our stay even better. Beautiful experience, Salzburg is beautiful city….

Great accommodation! Anita and her husband Željko are very nice peoples, always here to help you and tell you what to visit in Salzburg. With this accommodation you will have full equipment kitchen, living room and sleeping room and also free secure parking place for your car. On others accommodation in Salzburg you must pay parking place 15-25e per day, here you getting parking place for free, also you can buy everything what you need for breakfast in nearby stores and to have cheap good breakfast every day in kitchen, you do not need to pay breakfast 15-20e per day like you need to pay in others accommodations…. Rooms are very quiet during the nights, beds are very comfortable, everything was clean and shiny…. Thank you Anita and Zeljko for everything. My recommendation for this facility!!!

Superb value for money, kitchen, free parking and 15-min walk from center. Great choice for family!

The host Anita was very hospitable, friendly and helpful. We arrive after 2:00 AM and she was there for us to hand the key. The apartment was very neat, clean and comfy with fully-equipped kitchen which is great for famiies. There is wi-fi and Anita has arranged treats and many basic but necessary items (fruits, water, juices, coffee, tea, cereals, chocolate, olive oil and even wine). There is free parking. The location is 15-min walking distance from city center.

We intentionally booked to top floor apartment because of the view and roof-top windows but we had to climb the stairs. This is absolutely no problem for young couples/families but could be a problem for some visitors. There are lower floor apartments which have easier access. We loved the apartment and the host Anita.

Better than any hotel

Super friendly host, the best place for a (short) stay in Salzburg. Excellent facilities, big rooms, very hygienic, close to the centre and I slept like babies. The keys have a remote control to open the gate to the house with free private parking.

We had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay in Salzburg. Excellent location close to city centre.

Host was friendly and welcoming. Found nice little extras in the fridge and kitchen like cereals and a local drink. When I needed urgent medical attention was given quick feedback as to where I could get medical help on a Sunday and which chemists were open to get necessary medication. My son also took/lost a blanket by mistake and didn't have to pay to replace it.

Домакинята беше много любезна, даже ни предостави карти за градския транспорт.Апартаментът се намира на 10 мин.пеша от ЖП гарата и на 10 мин.с автобус номер 21 до центъра. Има супермаркет на съседната улица. Намира се в тиха жилищна зона.Беше топло и уютно в апартамента, имаше всичко необходимо и си изкарахме прекрасно. Ще се върнем отново през пролетта! No es lo que esperábamos

Está un poco lejos, aunque con el autobús se llega rápido. No nos ha gustado la ubicación.

Todo estaba súper limpio, Anita, la anfitriona encantadora y muy servicial, pero la casa es muy “justita”. El barrio tampoco nos gustó.

Todo estupendo.

Nos gustó mucho el patio del jardín donde pudimos aparcar el coche sin gastos, también la limpieza del apartamento y la buena atención que nos deparó Annita. La ubicación no es céntrica pero tiene una buena comunicación con el centro y también puedes ir andando a los sitios pues Salzburgo es una ciudad ideal para andar. Annita nos tramitó el cheque gratuito para el transporte público, lo utilizamos varias veces pero todo está cerca. En la zona hay varios supermercados y restaurantes y nuestra estancia fue muy agradable. Recomiendo el viaje a Salzburgo y el apartamento.

房东超级nice，入住的时候很清晰地介绍了周围的交通，超市，城区还有周边景点，包括城市优惠。房间很干净，卧室窗户看出去景色很好，晚上还有星星。厨房的东西很齐全，很适合要自己煮东西吃的家庭。离萨尔茨堡火车站走路十几分钟。最后走的时候房东还打算送我们到车站，不过我们看到站台临时变更，担心还有什么突发状况，收拾完东西就提前出发啦。房东看到消息的时候，我们已经出发了。房东真的超级nice

Die Vermieterin Anita ist eine überaus nette, hilfsbereite und aufmerksame Gastgeberin, die uns persönlich empfangen und in die Wohnung "eingewiesen" hat. In der gut ausgestatteten Küche stand ein Obstteller und Süßigkeiten bereit, außerdem Milch, Getränke, Kaffee und Tee. Für die Dauer unseres Aufenthalts erhielten wir kostenlose Tickets für die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel. Die Bushaltestelle ins Zentrum war zu Fuß in nur 3 Minuten erreichbar. Großes Bad mit Tageslicht und alles war blitzsauber. Balkon mit Tischchen und 2 Stühlen. Parkplatz auf dem Grundstück vorhanden.

Es gibt absolut NICHTS zu bemängeln!

Agradable apartamento para hacer excursiones en coche por los alrededores de Salzsburgo

La amabilidad de Anita, la limpieza, la comodidad, el silencio, la temperatura, que en la cocina y el baño había todo lo que pudiéramos necesitar, tener aparcamiento, la decoración sencilla del apartamento.

Que hubiera estado más cerca de Salzsburgo, que hubiera tenido ascensor, que hubiera sido más económico. Pero todo esto ya lo sabíamos antes de ir y volvería a reservar en el mismo lugar, porque todas sus ventajas compensan.

Me sentí como en casa!

Me encantó todo, la habitación muy completa, tenía todo lo que necesitábamos, adicional tenía parqueo gratis. Lo que más nos gustó fue la atención de la anfitriona, fue excelente, nos dio recomendaciones para visitar, nos brindó tickets para facilitar el transporte publico, nos recibió con frutas, leche, etc., nos hizo sentir como en casa y nos atendió siempre que lo necesitamos. El apartamento muy cómodo, en caso de volver a Salzburg repetiríamos la estadía acá sin dudarlo.

Todo perfecto !! No hay que no nos gustara! Increíble atención y apartamento.

On se sent à la maison!

Anita, notre hôte, nous a procuré tout ce dont nous avions besoin lors de notre séjour. Un lave-linge et un lave-vaisselle en vacances c'est un atout! Le lit était très confortable. La maison d'Anita était d'une grande propreté et située dans un quartier très tranquille, mais avec beaucoup de possibiliés de transport à moins de 500m.

Nous suggérons à Anita d'avoir des supports pliables comme dans les hôtels pour y déposer nos valises. Ce serait facilitant pour les voygeurs.

Empfehlenswertes, sauberes und ruhiges Apartment

Gute, ruhige Lage, nur 15-20 Min zu Fuß in die Fußgängerzone Linzer Gasse und weitere 10 Min zum Dom. Parkplätze gibt es am Grundstück. Anita ist sehr freundlich, das Apartment sehr gut ausgestattet (auch Tee, Kaffee, Milch und sogar Sekt für Silvester war vorhanden). Alles war sehr sauber und ordentlich.
