Salzburg Place to Stay

Absolutely beautiful apartment in the heart of the old town. Location was incredible, walking distance to all the sights in Salzburg, beautiful views and you can hear the church bells ringing. Apartment is spacious and very well appointed, and clean and comfortable. Great communication from the owner when we arrived and how to access the apartment. Bonus is the washing machine and dryer! There’s a little supermarket just down the road to buy food and essential and you are spoiled for choice for local eateries.

Location and view over the cathedral. Access to the laundry room was also a bonus.

Lack of air conditioning (understandable in this old building) meant the apartment could be quite warm. A fan is supplied.

Great location, cannot get closer to walking zone/old town. Lots of drawers and space for items/belongings. Supermarket and lots of restaurants super close! Had all basic required facilities, cute little kitchen.

No extra towels, some spots needed cleaning such as the ventilator in the bathroom, it has collected so much dust looks untouched in a long time, some areas not vacuumed or dusted e.g. area under seat. Although the location is great, it’s located on a walking zone for tourists, so you will hear and see tourists walking past directly next to your window.

Location is terrific. Right in the heart of the city, part of a relaxed neighbourhood a little away from teh square, with a host of restuarants and bars. A short walk to anyway note-worthy in the city. The apartment was a good size, it didn't feel too small for two of us.

The photos are a little misleading as they show photos of all the different rooms available. We were given the ground floor. So the view in the photos (which was actually what sold us on this apartment) we did not have. On the ground floor we had next to no natural daylight and the room did not reflect images on the listing. The bed absolutely destroyed my back too, it was soft and felt slopey on both sides. Both me and my partner struggled - so if you have back issues be warned!
