The hotel decor, room furnishings, and service were impeccable.
At breakfast, consider adding a few more vegan or egg-free vegetarian options to the cakes and small desserts. There were only palmiers as an egg-free option and over a dozen egg-containing cakes, muffins, etc. Also consider stevia options for the desserts.

Its a great property and we have come back many times but the last time over
We had a traumatic experience during stay when a piece if jewellery was missing, the whole security team came looking for it in the whole room and the item reappears next day morning when we got back from the breakfast
The security confirmed noone came in to keep the ring as per the cctv, and started questioning us as if we hid it and we found it!
And then they have send an applogy asking us to pay again at the same hotel and stay so they can offer a free upgrade as compensation.
Not sure what happened, but the trauma of being questioned by the director of security as if we were the culprits is never going to go away from us!

The room was very spacious which was great when staying with our 3 year old son. The food was incredible at the buffet for both the evening meal and breakfast.
The gym simply needs a little TLC but it does have a great view!

The room was moldy and we inhaled all of it, couldnt be missed to put these on booking, we will further complain about it just didnt want to ruin our two important nights but we were completely disappointed such health matter in such name of the hotel can occur.

We stayed last weekend and had a great experience. At first, our rooms were not together despite my request, but the staff quickly resolved it and gave us two beautiful sea-view connecting rooms. Since it was my cousin’s birthday, they also surprised us with complimentary cakes in both rooms — such a thoughtful gesture that made our stay very special.

Very disappointed with the service. Upon arrival when walking inside of the hotel with a suitcase, bags & flowers, no one offered to help or take the luggage and the receptionist checking us in didn’t offer to get us any help either until I had to ask if someone could take our luggage up for us. During our stay there was constant loud noises in the room, not sure what from, sounded like it was from the ceiling but it woke up me extremely early. Additionally, the steamer provided did not work, I called the reception and asked if I could have an iron sent to the room, the man who answered found it appropriate to snigger when I said I do not need an ironing board for an additional 10 dollars, and was laughing at me. No iron arrived to the room after waiting 10 minutes, I then received a phone call to ask if I’m okay with the checkout time and I told the woman who rang that the time is absolutely fine I’m simply waiting for the iron to be sent to the room and she said “I will chase that up for you”. 20 minutes later, still no iron. At the end me and my husband ended up just checking out without receiving an iron. No one came to assist with luggage again which we had to bring down ourselves. Very disappointed with the service and will not be returning. I am a big fan of Fairmont and it’s usually my first choice when travelling, however I will not be revisiting this branch due to the poor service.

Our stay at the Fairmont Bab Al Bahr, Abu Dhabi was absolutely wonderful. The property itself is stunning — from the breathtaking views of the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque to the relaxing pool and private beach, everything felt like a perfect balance of luxury and comfort. The rooms were spacious, well-kept, and truly made us feel at home.
What stood out the most, however, was the service. The staff were always attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was smooth and memorable. A special thank you goes to Ms. Shaniana, who was always there for us throughout our stay. Her professionalism, warm personality, and willingness to help at every step made a huge difference. She truly elevated our experience and we are very grateful for her support.
We left with wonderful memories and look forward to coming back. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Abu Dhabi, whether for leisure or business

Receptionist and the manager we booked from booking.com and we dont know about the kids id and we came back to dubai and took our kids id and after 8 we checked in they didn’t allow us to go to room without kids id scan it was very bad experience and never go back to this hotel first of all reception staff is not cooperative they didn’t listen we had a pdf copy but they didn’t accept.when we reach again with kids card even they didn’t ask for the id scan.they waste our first day of booking and waste our staycation

My recent stay at your hotel was absolutely perfect from start to finish. Everything exceeded expectations – from the smooth check-in to the outstanding service throughout my stay.
Breakfast and dinner were both excellent, with an impressive variety and top-quality dishes that made every meal a pleasure. A special mention to Hassan in Marco’s for his warm hospitality and attentive service, which truly made dining memorable.
The reception team was welcoming and efficient, making the arrival and departure process seamless. I also greatly appreciated the professionalism and support from the conference manager, who ensured every detail was handled flawlessly.
In fact, everyone I encountered at the hotel went above and beyond to make the experience enjoyable. The genuine friendliness, professionalism, and care of your staff are what set this hotel apart.

Poor Hygiene and staff lack of professionalism, the worst check in experience. I booked a suit with view and kitchen , we ended it up with a standard suit no kitchen, we settled because of the horrible check in experience and we have travelled from a far so we were just tired

Everything. Wasn’t given the correct toe of room requested. Plus, there was a very strong and present smell of mould. When I spoke to them originally they denied it and sent me back into the same room for 15 mins so I can get used to the room but when I looked up at the ceiling there was so much mould. I felt like I was choking.

The property was stunning with a beautiful beachfront and well-maintained pool areas. The rooms were spacious, clean, and elegantly furnished.
Staff were courteous and attentive, especially at check-in with Mr. Shiraz. Mazaj restaurant was amazing especially the service by Mr. Ahmed.
The view of the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque was a wonderful bonus.

The restaurants within the hotel
The pool and beach areas were a big letdown. Staff were inattentive and unhelpful, and most of the sunloungers and umbrellas were old, worn out, and dirty — definitely not what you'd expect from a hotel of this standard. Saturdays are best avoided altogether: the area gets overrun with non-hotel guests coming just to pose for photos in the pool, making it overcrowded and frustrating for actual paying guests. I heard several other guests complaining too.
Very poor experience overall outside — I’ll be staying at the Ritz next time, where the service and upkeep are far superior.
