A true palace!

We were treated like royals from the very beginning – a huge thank you to Hamza at the reception, who does an outstanding job. We are truly grateful for his kindness and professionalism. What we especially loved was the pool in the evening – the perfect place to relax. The interior design is among the most beautiful we have ever seen. A true palace indeed!

We were a bit disappointed by the beach. The sand was not as soft as we had expected, and service was not always attentive – we missed having someone come by regularly to offer water. The beach was really the only aspect that did not feel quite royal during our stay.

Superlative in everything! Starting from attentive staff, self closing curtains, great park with jogging track around the hotel, and a breakfast buffet which doesn't leave any wish unanswered. Beds are so comfy, rooms are spacious.

We came as a group and the y put us in 2 sides of the hotel, a distance of 700 meter between each other. Not recommended for old people, a lot of walking, even just to the breakfast.

An extraordinary place to stay

Not a frequent traveller by any means but I've stayed at some very nice locations and The Emirates Palace is easily my favourite so far. The building, the beach, the pool, the restaurants and exceptional staff. 10/10 absolutely no doubt. The concierge team helped with me quite complex plans ahead of time and executed everything perfectly.

A stunning property with unmatched legacy, but the service—particularly at the front desk—fell short of the Palace stand

There’s nothing I would say I strongly dislike, but I would like to share a note with management. As someone with extensive experience in hospitality around the world, I can confidently say that the UAE sets one of the highest standards globally for customer service especially at a landmark like emirates palace, which carries a prestigious name and reputation. However, during this visit despite having stayed here many times before i was quite disappointed with the front desk experience. The staff member who handled my check-in was notably unwelcoming, unhelpful, and inconsistent in her communication. She even seemed unfamiliar with the standard check-in protocol expected at the Palace. There was no warm greeting, no proper introduction, and unfortunately, a noticeable language barrier that made the interaction more difficult, as her English was often unclear or out of context. Please, don’t allow the high standards associated with this property to slip. The emirates palace should remain a benchmark for excellence, not just in its facilities but in its service as well.

Where to start for an 8K room a night I was beyond disappointed the buggy service was shocking very lazy staff asked me to get off the buggy he couldn’t be bothered to drive me witnessed an argument at valet because no one could be bothered to get my car women in the lobby sat with shoes off feet on the table literally disgusting no beds at the pool the slowest service ever a lot of staff just staring at you blankly with no idea what your saying there are a million times better hotels in Abu Dhabi save your money

The EP is still a good place to be, this because of: > room size and style > quality of the restaurants > beach and pool areas > overall building experience > friendly staff

The EP is not the same now compared to the time under Kempinski management: > service and maintainance standard > lack of management attention > aggressiv sale of pool memberships to non hotel guests > it is a holiday location now, not a business or locals venue

poor service quality and outdated interior

We experienced significant delays at check-in, and to our surprise, the receptionist eventually disappeared and never returned. Despite arriving well after the official check-in time, our rooms were still not ready. The staff seemed inattentive and had difficulty providing basic information. The hotel itself feels outdated and lacks charm. The corridors are eerily empty and contribute to an overall neglected atmosphere. Both the interior and exterior are in serious need of renovation. Given the overall experience, the price-performance ratio is very poor and does not justify the cost.

Very bad start , sadly first impressions never leave.

After complaining to the manager, the staff were more than helpful, Helping us to book restaurants in the evening, and trip to the Mosque.

On arrival no one to meet us . Very long walk to room , my husband aged 75 struggled to walk. No fruit in the room , no welcome tea or water breakfast first morning horrendous, no one showed us round the buffet, staff overwhelmed with the breakfast. Dirty plates not taken away, ordered a second coffee, it never came, lots of children , totally unimpressed . It was chaotic. We found the hotel just very very busy with tourists taking photographs in the foyer.

Pleasant but not worth it.

Clean room, large property to explore, nice decorations, iconic building

There were quite a few things that went wrong right from the beginning - our room wasn't ready at 3pm, staff at reception were quite useless (except for one lady, unfortunately I cannot remember her name who has been trying her best to find a room), we were told to wait for a while, during which time we went around exploring the property, the property is huge, no clear instructions were things are at, the security people were asking wierd questions, like I had to justify why I am there. I booked a sea view room, our room was positioned on the side of the building, which meant you only get a partial view. To me it is a serious misrepresentation on the website. Should clearly indicate full / partial view. You can see on the photos what I have booked, and what I have got. Overall, coming from Atlantis the royal, this hotel just felt like it is lacking a lot of things - not making you feel welcomed, staff not very helpful, not having the room ready by checkin is a big fail, the pool area is plesant but does not feel luxury or exclusive. The QR code allows you to view the menu but not order - not sure why... you have to waive to someone to come and take your order. Lacking attention to detail. Will not be back.

Nice hotel but open to public, beware many many tourists

Nice to visit for a 1-2 day trip to Abu Dhabi.

No bins. Too much tourists at the entrance of the hotel. Two times we’ve been told that the restaurant was full, when there were free tables, even though we were guests at the hotel. But luckily tge managed saw this and came to apologize and accomodate us. When running a gotel open also to the public, you must distguisg between guests and rest. Really bad expirience with this, would not come back because we were treated poorly.

Was a truly Special place to stay

The rooms were very clean and in a traditional style which I liked. Beach was perfect and the sea was amazing. Was able to go Paddle Boarding as water sports were available.

After staying at several Hotels in the Middle East I was surprised there wasn’t extra special touches like Sunglasses cleaned round the pool and ice lollies. Only one day we received a little canapé.

A memorable journey

I loved everything about the hotel and certain staff who attended to us made everything memorable. Friendly and very helpful staff from the moment I landed to check out. Shout out to the staff who made my stay a memorable one - Joseph (who greeted me upon my arrival with a huge genuine smile), Myria who helped with my check in and showed me to my room even a short history about the hotel, Sechin and Palel the two men who took turns guarding the entrance of the wing I stayed in with my boss. They both greeted us in the morning with smiles on their faces and small geninue greetings and chats when we head out and come back in. To the staff who cleaned our room everyday, thank you so much. Thank you all for your excellent service. Stayed for 7 nights and had a marvelous time there.
