The STAFF were fabulous and very welcoming...

I stayed for two nights and found the staff to be very courteous and helpful. Unfortunately, there were a few issues that affected my stay. The bathroom sink was clogged, and the power in the room tripped twice, which required multiple calls to maintenance. The hotel’s TV channel selection is extremely limited, so if you enjoy watching movies, it’s best to bring your own iPad or device with Netflix. I strongly advise against ordering the grilled chicken sandwich—it was very poor quality—and the overall dine-in menu selection is quite limited. Ladies should also consider bringing their own hairdryer, as the hotel’s dryer is weak, struggles with long hair, and requires you to hold down a button continuously, making styling difficult. Overall, the one thing that truly made the stay pleasant was the lovely and attentive staff.

If the hotel was busy that shd not affect the quality

Im disappointed this time, first of all the cleaning of the room wasnt good and staff forget one dirty towel that they use to clean and it was so so dirty so basically if they use this towel to clean mean the room is plenty of bacteria i called them to come and take it, also breakfast food quality and not following the hygiene i asked for egg the chef broke two eggs in his hand then when i asked for salt same gloves he took some in his finger and put on eggs so basically if the eggs have bacteria from outside its eill be now in the salt

Waste of money

Lovely helpful staff

Dirty windows, faulty tv, faulty lights, faulty coffee machine, hard mattress, nothing in the fridge bar a few drinks. The food was mediocre, the terrace outside dirty with bird poo on the chairs. The charges are high and do not match the utilities and the high end product they aspire to. The hotel is tired there is just nothing special about it did not feel spoilt and spent £4K for four nights. Very disappointed would not recommend waste of money.

I usually stayed at this hotel about once a year. While I have generally been very satisfied, my experience this time was poor. • I was assigned a room that felt as if someone had already spent a few hours there and then left. The water coming from the bath was brown, and the carpet had major stains and clearly needs a thorough cleaning. • The sunbed mats at the beach were completely destroyed - not just one, but all of them - which was shocking to see in a 5-star hotel. • The hotel urgently needs better Wi-Fi, which really shouldn’t be an issue in Abu Dhabi.

A beautifully designed Moroccan style hotel - a ruby in the dust!

The staff were absolutely lovely and the manager upgraded us to a three bedroom suite with incredible views. The food and wine was good. It wasn't too busy so nice and relaxing!

The air condition in the restaurant meant that the hot food was luke warm which was disappointing. However, the selection was good.

Well presented and good value for money.

The staff - although they were friendly, they lacked initiative. They were all really slow and no one knew who was doing what. We ordered a taxi from the front desk - when it had arrived no one notified us and we sat there waiting for ages and I went out looking for our driver who was also annoyed as he said he’d been waiting for 10 mins. We asked for our bags and the desk staff were just looking around fiddling on the phones until the driver also had enough and went to the cart and dragged them out himself.

Breakfast was amazing, room is spacious with amazing view! The pool and beach are also amazing we enjoyed our time and loved staying at the hotel more than actually leaving

The room service cleaning was slow, we stayed for 2 nights, the second day we called the room cleaning since morning and they were very much delayed and only showed up when kids were back from swimming so it was inconvenient and they worked very quickly to get things done, this was the only drawback

Our towels were changed daily and the room service was always very friendly and attentive. The evening and breakfast buffets are adequate, but there is little variety. I liked the fresh fruit in the evening and in the morning. The location and value for money for half board is unbeatable.

This was our second time at Bab. Compared to 2024, we didn't enjoy it as much. The carpet in our room hadn't even been vacuumed. Last year, you could take a 1-liter bottle of water with you after dinner and even a coffee or tea to go after breakfast. In addition, a separate elevator for staff and aburteile Development should definitely be introduced. The employees only commute between the lobby and the sixth to ninth floors. This is really annoying for normal hotel guests. Some of the staff responsible for table service and cleanliness are very unfriendly. I would also suggest a little more restraint. No sooner I had taken my last bite than my plate was cleared away. What I didn't understand at all was that one evening I was able to order tea with my meal without any problems, but the next day I had to pay extra for it. In the morning, tea is also free. Another thing I didn't like about the food was that many people filmed everything with their cell phones, including other guests. Photos of the buffet are fine, but I don't want to be filmed by strangers while I'm eating. The sun loungers on the beach could do with being replaced and the beach could be raked properly. Some of the beach chairs are broken and covered in bird droppings. There are small, sharp fruit skewers and bottles lying everywhere. On the way to the beach, you walk past the hedge that separates the Bab and the Hyatt. There was a regular smell of feces here. The internet connection was also often very poor.

The incredible staff were the best thing about this hotel. They went above and beyond to make us feel like VIP's. On site restaurants are incredible- great food and ambience. My kids and I loved the breakfast which was a feast. Going back in December.

Excellent 5-star business hotel

Excellent hotel with amazing view of Qasr-Al-Watan. Delicious varied breakfast and dinner buffet at the Artisan Kitchen. Every evening there was another theme with appropriate decorartion. All staff was very friendly and helpful. Compliments to the reception and bell personnel and to the female pianist who was present to animate afternoons and evenings in the lobby.

The only thing I did not like is the swimming pool. This is a classy business hotel and the pool area or garden were not made for or welcoming to children. It is nothing to do with the staff, just the way things are made and squeezed. Another thing I did not like is that there was a contest for guests who ate in the restaurants, but we did not qualify because we pre-paid all restaurant visits; I felt that was very disciminatory.

Luxurious, relaxing, clean and welcoming!

It was fancy, clean and very welcoming! The people were all amazing and I felt so safe and looked after. The room was immaculate and beautiful, the food was delicious and the pool and beach areas are amazing! They really value getting to know you as a person and think they had the best customer service of any hotel I’ve stayed at.

Lovely hotel, in a convenient location. The family room was a good size, very comfortable and good value for our family of four. The breakfast and dinner buffets were tasty and there was a good choice of food. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

The pool area, while nice, was a bit small for the size of the hotel so it was very busy and difficult to get a sun bed, even though it was not peak season.

A beautiful hotel with wonderful views

The hotel was amazing. I was not aware that I had booked connecting rooms for myself and my two teenage children, so that was a very pleasant surprise. The view from the room was fantastic. We enjoyed the pool and the beach. We ate only at the hotel and the restaurants were very good. The staff were very nice and provided 5 star service. The breakfast was plentiful and we enjoyed it very much. It was the best breakfast that we had while in the UAE. I would book Bab Al Qasr when going to Abu Dhabi again.

The hotel seemed very unprepared for the large holiday crowd for Eid. Breakfast one day was a complete disaster without enough tables for guests in multiple breakfast locations. Guests were asked to share tables with other family members. We ended up eating on a sofa in the hallway!
