This is a basic hotel but the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the shower and bath worked well, the breakfast was good and the staff were friendly and helpful. The position is brilliant with parking in the square opposite free at the weekends and the room had a lovely view of the cathedral, and sights and restaurants in the town are nearby.

They said they had parking, but in fact it was just a public car park across the street

Very very outdated rooms. The bathrooms tiles had moulds on them. The toilet was a very old one in one of the rooms. Needs a proper renovation. The hotel was on the other hand well located to shops and restaurants.
