Clean comfy and convenient

Used this hotel for a one night stop over travelling through france and then again on the way back. The location and quick access to the main road was really convenient. The communication with staff was excellent considering our late check in. Our keys for 3 rooms were very easily and quickly accessed even though reception was closed. The clean simple room and hot shower were very good and welcome after a long day travelling. The beds were surprisingly comfy and warm. Continental breakfast was good value and had plenty of options to suit all 6 of us.

The shower in 1 of the rooms did leak slightly flooding the floor but there were spare towels to sort this quickly. We were also aware that the rooms were not fully sound proof so had to be very quiet with our late check in. This was a minor inconvenience though considering the value for money for a much needed rest and breakfast.

Surprisingly nice and comfortable - affordable luxury

Super room, generous size and great comfy bed with excellent bedding. Neat en-suite bathroom, wardrobe area, coffee maker and good TV. Much better than the other chains we have normally used for these mid journey stopovers.

Price and location to Calais.

Restaurant and bar closed all weekend including Friday. I Only booked this hotel for this facility. Many others didn’t have a restaurant. Also the receptionist was extremely unhelpful when asked where locally can we go to eat, even Burger King etc, he said nowhere about this area and online I found Burger King 3 minutes away. He was abrupt and sarcastic with a response of ‘exactly’ to many questions my husband had. I won’t recommend or return to this hotel. Advertising a bar/restaurant and employing those with no people skills or customer service at all. He clearly did not want to be there and do the job he is paid to do.

An excellent stay at a convenient hotel.

The room was comfortable and clean. A very good buffet evening meal was available as was an excellent breakfast. The staff were helpful and pleasant. Parking was easy. The location was handy for us as it was quite close to the A26 motorway as we were journeying from Calais to the South.

The perfect en-route stopover.

Easy access and parking. Friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable beds and room as a whole. The restaurant was most acceptable as well. Interestingly, for those intending to book, I was told by the receptionist that the upper floor has some double rooms with bath whereas the ground floor has twin rooms with showers. Just saying.

I stay at campanile as the food and breakfast are always great but on a Saturday evening the restaurant was closed so we ended up in a McDonald’s as everywhere around was booked up!!

Good value clean and basic digs. Would use again

Dead easy to find and a nice easy check-in. Great location and the staff were superb. Good value for money. Really comfortable beds. Had a kettle in the room so could make a decent cuppa (bought our own tea bags !) Very clean and tidy (looks like it had been refurbished fairly recently). Plenty of storage. Bathroom and shower were excellent. Decent car parking - we parked our motorbikes in one bay and locked them all together. Continental breakfast was good. La Kaverne pub nearby (within a 5 minute walk) is superb. Beer shop, various games, good food and a superb choice of craft ales and lagers. Cracking pub. External blackout blinds were great as the room was pitch black at night

Easy to find from the motorway. Good food available from nearby restaurant. Close enough to centre of St Quentin for a visit there.

A comfortable and pleasant stay!

The location was just off the motorway so the hotel was easy to find. The staff were welcoming and helpful. As we had been staying in a few hotels on this road trip we could compare the beds and pillows.The Campanile wins the competition for the best comfort!

Great location for an overnight stop on our way to Austria, with our dog. Really easy to find, such comfy beds! We didn’t use the restaurant as we arrived late and left early, but the bakery round the corner was fabulous!

Very convenient location near the autoroute.

Very comfortable beds & walk-in shower. Two chairs in the room. A hand towel as well as a bath towel each. Free pain au chocolat available at the welcome desk!

You had to ask reception to switch on the radiator in the room remotely via their phone - bizarre. The plug in the sink didn’t work properly, so water was wasted.

a good location that we use regularly when travelling on the A26 and good value for money

We were in Room 1. I slept in the bed on the right as you enter the room. There is a problem with the mattress, a deep hole on one side, almost the length of the bed. which made the bed uncomfortable. We had to leave very early or I would have told the hotel staff. Every other aspect of our stay was satisfactory.
