simple, yet cosy and afordable place to stay

It is a simple, modern, 3 star hotel, 10 miutes walking from the city center and 5 minutes fro the train stop. Rooms are simple, but comfortable, clean and perfect for short stay, expecialy if you need affordable place to sleep. Breakfast was really nice, good selection of food. The only thing that can be better is one of the stuff, who did not know mucg about the city and could not recommend a restaurant with tipical French food. Luckily, I found one by myself :).

Prompt check in and pleasant staff who spoke English. Room was warm with a comfy bed. A quiet room with very little corridor noise. Easy access and secure parking. A decent breakfast with plenty of choice. Good value

The hotel is well suited for a night's stay when passing through. It is simply furnished and inexpensive. The breakfast is very lovingly prepared and incredibly generous. Close to the highway, yet quiet. There is a small, beautiful park nearby, through which you can reach the lovely old town. We were able to park our car in the courtyard for a fee.

We found the beds a little too hard, but that's fine for one night. However, it should be suitable for someone who is a little heavier. Parking at the hotel should be free, but at least there are spaces in the secure courtyard.

Parking for motorcycle very good. Fresh orange juice & good coffee was very welcome. Quiet nights sleep. Good first stop on a weekend motorcycle tour from the UK. Would stay again.

Very convenient for an overnight stop off the A. Great location for walking the park, old town, and shopping/dinning, area after you arrive. Very nice accommodations and VERY quite. It was nice having a small bar and snack area in the lobby for a glass of wine and some snacks. Exceptional breakfast….WOW! I would stay here again for sure!

Second stay here for a one night pit stop whilst travelling.. just as good as before. Easy to find, friendly staff, good location for walk into town with choice of bars etc to eat. Cosy clean room/bathroom. Good secure car parking for only 6 euros extra, but you can also park in the street outside. Great breakfast included, nice choice of items and funky decor.

Very comfy room and clean facilities - the room was cleaned daily which was really appreciated. Bathroom could do with some slight update but overall very good stay.

Perhaps consider adding a layer of security to the WiFi - it was open which is not ideal especially for people travelling for work.

The hotel was shared with Ibis we were not told they were renovating and painting which inconvenienced us going to our room using two lifts also had to pay full price of €6 a day to park my motorbike

Breakfast is rich and good quality. Silent room, clean and comfortable. Very kind staff, fast, friedly and professional. Walking distance from downtown, but out of city center. Restaurants and free parking in the area.

Reception and the cafe area were nicely presented. Very comfortable bed and a decent room overall. Plenty of breakfast. Friendly and efficient staff.

They hotel was a little tired in areas e.g corridors, bathroom fittings. A bit stuffy in the cafe area. I would have preferred better ventilation especially in these times.

We had a quick one night stay over as we were travelling on motorbikes that were left safe and secure overnight in the hotel car park. The rooms were adequate, sparse but clean. The breakfast included in the price was more than sufficient. The staff were friendly and very helpful.

The property was fine, although the nearby restaurants and bars were few and far between.

The room was very clean, the bed a little bit hard but comfortable. The breakfast was very good and the staff was kind. We can recommend that Hotel to everyone.

The fridge in the room was not to quiete, so had to just switched it off.

Zum wiederholten Male unterbrachen wir unsere Reise in Valenciennes und stiegen im Hotel Baudouin ab. Die Nähe zur Autobahn und zur Innenstadt mit den vielen Restaurants machen das Hotel für uns interessant. Unser Zimmer war einfach, aber sinnvoll eingerichtet, sehr sauber und mit Fenster zum Parkplatz sehr ruhig. Das Frühstück ist umfangreich und preislich sehr gut

Bei diesem Aufenthalt hatten wir ein Zimmer, in dem das Fenster nur auf oder zu sein konnte, eine Kippstellung für die nächtliche Lüftung fehlte. Schade.

Très bien pour quelques nuits

Nous avons passé une nuit courte (2h du matin - 9h) donc nous n'avons pas pu profiter correctement de la chambre. Cependant je peux dire que le lit était très confortable, la salle de bain était propre et la chambre est spacieuse par rapport à certaines chambres d'autres hôtels. De plus, le petit-déjeuner n'a pas été essayé mais c'était inclus dans la chambre.

Dommage que ce soit mal isolé, nous avons été réveillé la nuit. Une dame parlait fort et rigolait, je ne sais pas si c'était dans le couloir ou dans sa chambre.

Halte agréable à Valenciennes

Belle chambre, propre qui donnait sur la rue et malgré tout relativement calme. Bon petit déjeuner avec du choix, salles agréables (il y en a 3, dont 2 sans télévision et ça c'est le top).

La télévision qui fonctionnait très mal (chambre 359). J'avais de la mosaïque comme image, excepté pour les chaînes de France Télévision. J'en ai informé la réception. Le technicien qui devait régler la télévision a dû probablement faire vite, la télévision avait toujours le même problème le soir. Dommage ce qui fait que je note moyennement l'équipement de la chambre. Bruit des portes des chambres qui claquent (très désagréable).
