Welcoming and convenient.

It is convenient for an overnight stop off from the A26. The receptionist was very welcoming and helpful. There are several good restaurants nearby for evening meal. And if you have more time than we had the cathedral is well worth a visit.

Very good. Excellent stopover whether travelling south into France or North back to UK.

Very helpful lady on reception, excellent secure parking, easily accessible to town centre, restaurants and other amenities (such as petrol stations, supermarkets etc). All spotlessly clean and breakfast was very good. First class stay.

A Gem of a Hotel with fantastic Host.

An unexpected gem for travellers. I was provided secure garage parking for my motorcycle. Delphine was a lovely host who did absolutely everything to ease my arrive, stay and departure. The small hotel is opposite the train station and looks nothing special from the outside. However, inside it is lovely modern clean and has everything most travellers need. My room had a balcony, compact but very comfortable and air conditioned. Fantastic value. The bonus for me was the lovely cathedral on the hill and the gorgeous gastronomique restaurant opposite where I had the best steak ever!

Highly rated hotel.

This is a newly remodelled hotel from what used to be called the Hotel des Artistes. It is now superb. Modern and well looked after. It has parking for cars and motorcycle and an enclosed garage. The receptionist, Dephine, was friendly and more than helpful. I was travelling by motorcycle which broke down in the hotel's garage. Delphine was very sympathetic and kept a room for that evening should I have needed it although In the end I did not need the room.

Great hotel for those traveling between Laon, Amiens, and Reims.

It’s probably the only hotel in town which is located near the railway station in the lower town. So it’s convenient for those who visit Laon in transit. Clean, comfortable, quiet. Walking to the historical center would be tiresome but busses are available (although not frequent service) as well as taxis. Regular train connections to Reims, Amiens and Soissons.

Important notice: the reception is not permanently staffed. If arrived after hours, be ready to make some telephone calls to check in.

Small hotel, right next to the (quiet) railway station. Free parking outside overnight. Looks like the interior of the hotel was refurbished very recently, it was all smart, modern and clean. The continental buffet breakfast was fresh and tasty. The staff were super friendly and helpful :-)

Excellent hotel for a stopover while driving through France.

Second time here , nice room nice location really friendly staff. Plenty of parking nearby and near to town centre. Attractive old town a short but steep walk away.

Breakfast seemed at a little expensive so did not try. Not the cheapest hotel but the best we have tried in the area.
