Excellent hotel for a stopover across France!

Conveniently situated next to the highway, less than two hours from Calais. Warm and very quiet room with plenty of space (triple room). Car parking on site - and excellent boulangerie 3 minutes walk away for outstanding coffee and croissants.

When taking my dog out was met by a dog sitting by the door who was intimidating and clearly did not like other dogs he was loose the owner then came from out of an office I presume worked there to get him dogs should not be allowed to roam freely in the hotel and more pillows on the bed

Exactly as you imagine a B&B.

Booked mainly because of the logistics. A one-and-a-half-hour drive from Calais on our long way to the south, so great for a sleepover if you cross the Channel in the late evening. They are pet-friendly and offer a 24-hour check-in option. There is a check-in machine if you arrive after 8:30 pm. Make sure you carry a physical card! The staff is very friendly!

There were some black stains on the bedsheet. Toilet door didn't properly close. I can't say I didn't like breakfast, but it offered quite limited options: scrambled eggs, bacon, bread, cheese, yogurt, croissants, cereal, and drinks. Good enough, but no veggies/fruits or alternative options for eggs, bacon or cereal.

Good stopover point

Good location for a stopover with children on the route back to Calais. Close to a cool playground, shops, and fast food places. Room was fine for 4 of us, and breakfast was decent for the price. Self check.in worked well. We didn't have any contact with staff to rate that.

Perfect for late arrival

Accessibility of someone on the intercom despite reception being closed to support with the automated ticket machine - I'd put the second room in my husbands name (he has a different surname) and couldn't work out why only one reservation was showing under my reservation code - thankfully someone was available immediately to help as it was 1am when we arrived. Also good that an access code was provided to the car park despite it being closed for the night when we arrived. Great value for money hotel with easy access to the road in / out of France from Calais.

Well worth the money

The best value for money I’ve had on booking.com. The hotel was clean and modern, bed was big and comfortable and shower was great. Definitely staying here again the next time we visit France and will now try the other B&B hotels

Exellent value for money, would fully recommend it

The room was very clean and modern. The beds were very comfortable, there was even air conditioning available. The breakfast was wonderful with various freshly baked breads, coisssants, pains de chocolate, scrambled eggs, bacon, various cereals, choice of hot drinks, fruit juices, various jams , cheese and apples.

To have free access to WiFi would have been great.

Great overnight place!

Great location on the way back to the Tunnel as we travelled back from Austria to England - easy to find and close to motorway. Handy bar and meal van behind the hotel. Staff were helpful as we were struggling to park with our trailer - thank you. Basic but very clean and a decent (albeit basic) breakfast. Great overnight stop place.

It was clean and tidy which met my needs for the night

A/C didn't work, resulting in a very warm stay didn't want to leave the window open due to it being a ground floor room, which opened out on the main thoroughfare into the car car park and entrance area.

Overall it was good

Location was very convenient for our trip and hotel is very close to the motorway and yet is quiet with a lot of open green space around it. Comfy bed, although I was grateful I had my own pillow! We found a lovely park/woodland to walk our dogs after a long day in the car Shops, restaurants and bars also a short walk away

We got to breakfast at 8.30 and there wasn’t much left to choose from.

Excellent B&B that exceeded expectations in every respect. Easy to find, helpful staff and smooth check-in. Room is very comfortable and the shower is amazing. Good French breakfast. Behind the B&B is a large bar serving beers and lagers on tap and a van selling food. Completed the package!

The mattress on the bed had a big dip in the middle so it was difficult not to roll into the dip which mad3 it difficult to sleep. There was a lot of noise late in the evening which sounded like people racing cars along the adjacent duel carriageway on the Friday evening, until after midnight
