We had an absolutely wonderful 5-day stay at this hotel. The rooms, including the bathrooms, were lovely, spatious and spotlessly clean, the entire staff were more than helpful and willing to attend to our needs and provide a very pleasant experience to all their guests. Their attitude and services (including the meals) were truly impressive and we highly recommend this high-quality accommodation to anyone who is looking for a warm, charming and relaxing space feeling (almost) like home. Kyriad Douai is a perfect choice, with an excellent atmosphere and lovely people whose professionalism and hospitality are unforgettable. Thank you for everything!

Poorly managed hotel but reception staff were helpful and friendly.

Customer facing staff were good and doing the best they could.

Hotel was fully booked for months but restaurant ran out of food by 8pm and beer by 9pm. Very under staffed given that they knew their bookings long in advance. My room was not made up on the second day, I only wanted one teabag and one milk carton, I left 'please make up' notice on door. Cleaner just threw blanket part over bed, nothing else, nothing. Showed pic of my messed up bed to reception who promised it would be sorted, my room was not touched again, nothing was replaced or tidied over the next four days! It wasn't just me, friends had the same. Terrible cleaning staff. Breakfast was great (£12), if you got there at 6am, as it wasn't refreshed at all and most items ran empty by 7am.

we had to stay at this hotel as there was a wedding in the next village and this hotel was the only option. Compare to the price, the hotel was very old and look like there was no maintenance in the past 5 years. There was ripped-off paint on the wall and doors! there was a big spider (50 mm) in our bathroom! I am wondering if the cleaning staff really took care of cleaning, otherwise, they could have seen the spider, as my husband saw and killed it before I get scared.

location close to motorway network and secured parking were great. breakfast was much better than expected

on arrival I’ve been waiting for a receptionist for good few minutes, using the bell and walking around looking for everyone. when she finally walked in we got the keys. we were allocated in 2 rooms (115 and 117) which were connected by the internal door. while 117 was okay 115 was a disaster- no main light in a bathroom, sink was blocked, in a bathroom switch for overhead shower was not working so only bathtub could be used, screws from the handle in the connected door were missing or loose so I ended up with door handle in my hand. small shelf for the suitcase was broken so I decided not to use it. in both rooms lights was not sufficient. i went to reported it to a lady in a reception to make sure all issues are reported.lady in a reception was speaking very limited English ( I’ve been using Google translator) and due to than in the morning I asked another member of staff in a reception whether my comments were recorded and was told that… nothing was passed from the night shift. that means no one cares and that awful room would be offered to another guest, which was really a joke as room with so many failures should have been taken out of use. normally I would request for another room however as our journey was really long and one of my kids was already sleeping I decided to stay where I was. Due to poor standard I had really bad stay and would not consider that hotel for my future stays.

The secure parking was the main thing that attracted me here.

My partner immediately found remnants of the previous guest liberally sprinkled over the floor, it clearly hadn't been swept up properly. The counter was chipped and cracked in the bathroom and the flush on the toilet had popped out of its housing and was just lying beside the toilet. There was also a strong smell of marijuana in the corridor upon checking in and the guests on the second floor appeared to be 'enjoying' themselves - loudly and often for several hours. We checked out as early as we could, even skipping the breakfast, as we were very keen to put as much distance between ourselves and Hotel Kyriad as possible. Our worst experience to date.

Very basic and not clean

The staff was nice and the breakfast was ok.

We had a twin room and beds are so small and have wheels so if you move during the sleep you will probably fall down of bed. The room looks like an old student dorm. No uber near by so it is ok only if you have your own car. The carpet in the hall is sooo dirty. It looks like every 2m someone spilled something.

The bed was on casters on a wooden floor which made it a little interesting. The location is remote though definitely quiet being surrounded by nothing but motor dealerships. The lighting bedside could have been better.

Je chercher encore, d’habitude quand l’établissement est bof, le personnel compensent mais c’était même pas le cas ! Le lit est assez ferme et confortable je dois dire

Jamais vu une salle de bain aussi crade, remplie de calcaire. Pas de serviette dans la chambre, j’ai du en demander. Le wifi qui capte pas bien. La poussière de la chambre qui a du être faite il y a 3 mois. Un miroir cassé et coupant. Le personnel totalement indifférent quand je fais une remarque sur l’état de la salle de bain…. Mais le pire, LE POMMEAU DE DOUCHE ! Une vraie arnaque !!! Encore un pommeau de douche écolo qui verse pas d’eau, faut rester 1h sous la douche pour se rincer…une honte. L’hôtel fait des économies sur le dos des clients qui payent largement trop cher une chambre minable. À fuir !
