Excellent venue, lovely weekend break!!

We have stayed at the Norfolk Royale Hotel in Bournemouth many times, always found it very clean, lovely rooms, staff are friendly and welcoming!! Great food and well situated for the beach and shops!!

Great location with really warm pool and jucuzzi

Excellent location and really friendly staff. The receptionist was lovely and went out of her way to bring me soya milk for my tea. Fantastic pool and jacuzzi! Hotel looks beautiful and impressive from the outside.

The bed was so unbelievably hard, we both woke up with bad backs. The decor for the room and dining room was very dated and the branding of the parent company was very budget-looking

Fantastic hotel

Location ideal , underground parking security for your vehicle. Family room was excellent stayed with our grandchildren for the night ample of room in bedroom. The pool was great

Lovely hotel in a great location

We loved our stay at Norfolk Royale hotel, the pool was great the hotel building was impressive and the staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were comfortable and we would certainly stay again. The location was also great with a short walk into town and very close to restuarants and pubs.

Breakfast was not a buffet but your order was taken but the food was pre-cooked and not amazing. it wasn't bad but there are better breakfasts in other hotels. It wouldn't stop us returning though.

The room was amazing and bigger than expected. Very clean and the beds were really comfy. The swimming pool was the highlight. So much character that suited the age of the property and such a nice temperature - we didn't want to leave!

Great hotel in a fine location

Our Premier Deluxe room lived up to its billing, large, comfortable and clean. The bathroom was lovely. All the staff were polite, friendly and professional.

The rest of the guests were mostly part of a coach party. This wasn't a problem at all apart from the breakfast which felt done down to a price for them.. There was a good choice and the service was fast and friendly but the quality of the food and drinks was out of keeping with the four star experience in the rest of the hotel.

Great location, close to shops, bars and restaurants. Easy walk to the Pier. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Loved the indoor spa and pool.

Old musty hotel.

Lovely looking hotel from the outside and only a minutes stroll to the shops and a Pret for coffee and cake in the morning a Starbucks also opposite the hotel,we had an executive room,large and comfy bed staff were pleasant.

Well,the hotel had that old musty smell on entering,you get coach loads of older generation of people staying here,the gas didn't work for breakfast which was poor so only had toast it was awful and cheap,we stayed for 3 nights but went to Pret for breakfast as we couldn't eat what they served,they had a pool but was so dirty looking around the outside all could do with a clean and nobody was around cleaning so didn't go in,would I go again,no,there are other hotels near that are more modern,we left early to go home.

The room was large and comfortable for the price. The location is excellent for a short walk to the Exhibition Centre and the beach.

Exactly the type of accommodation I wanted for my stay.

exceptionally large room and was surprised to have a full length bath and a balcony. Very traditional English food was available for breakfast which was a nice change. Location was brilliant for my needs. Pool water was lovely and warm.

Very Good Hotel

Staff, welcoming, helpful and friendly, Spacious room which included 2 armchairs. Ensuite with bath and seperate walk-in shower. Great breakfast, cereals juice etc and then good choice of cooked breakfast as well, which was served quickly and was hot. There also seemed a varied selection of evening meals, although we didn't have them. Just down the hill was bus station with buses to all areas. Its a lovely 10min stroll through the gardens to the beach..

Only a couple of minor things A mini fridge would have been nice Creaky floor boards in room.
