Fantastic!

The staff at this hotel go above and beyond to meet all and Any expectations/requests. I have never stayed in a hotel/B&B where the staff/owners are as kind, thoughtful and accommodating as this hotel! 10/10 all the way!

It was quite hot In the room. So some better fans would’ve made a huge difference. But overall, I can’t really complain!

Fantastic customer service - second to none

The room was very spacious and comfortable. The hotel was lovely and quiet. Good location close to the shops and restaurants and not too far from the beaches. Mary and her whole team were very accommodating and couldn't do enough to ensure a perfect stay. I booked this room for my elderly brother-in-law and he had such a great time that he extended his stay. The hotel contacted me to let me know and helped him get to the train station for his return. If you appreciate good old fashioned customer service and a caring team that go above and beyond look no further than the Blue Palms!

The lady was very demanding kept reminding me about check out time made me pay a deposit and kept pestering me for my ID calm down it’s a room with damp and I never would’ve stayed if my initial booking was legit! The bed sheets were not changed, damp smell, couldn’t even fit in the bathroom as sink right near toilet can’t wash ur face properly. Dirt everywhere not even been cleaned I paid £400 for 3 people for one night! Not even free parking. Spiders everywhere absolute filth. Would never come here again! Even if it was for free- awful!

Lovely place and location and friendly staff

Good room size. Had a fridge that we used to stock up our cold drinks and finger foods and sandwhichs. A small tv and a microwave . A fan stored in wardbrobe if needed and hair dryer. Lady who works there was very polite and good at giving ideas and good places to go to and to eat . Lovely to just have a chat to . We sat outside on sun chairs and lounger just want me needs after a lot of walking, wanted to stay another night and lady was lovely and gave us a big discount for extra night and save it for us until i got extra money later the next day . I would stay here again

The place to be

If I had to sum up my experience, the Blue Palms Hotel is definitely the place to be for a great time in Bournemouth. The welcome we received was incredibly warm. We were so grateful for the helpful advice and genuine kindness of the receptionist. The hotel is beautifully decorated with a truly unique style. Its location is absolutely perfect, right next to the sea, grocery stores, and the city center.

Wonderful stay in a lovely hotel.

My room was lovely and the bed very comfortable. The shower was easy to use, which for me is always a plus. Mary the proprietor was very welcoming and was very helpful in explaining everything and how to get around... The breakfast was lovely. I had a very happy experience staying here...I would come again...

My only suggestion, but not a complaint, is that it would have been helpful to have a glass for drinking and some cutlery.. A microwave was available, but no utensils. The hotel was a little further from the beach than anticipated, but it worked out okay..

Simply WOW 5* We had an exceptional stay at Blue Palms Hotel for our wedding anniversary. Mary and John were both exceptional hosts and couldn't do enough for us during our stay. We were upgraded to superior room free of charge and a bottle of prosecco delivered to our room for our anniversary. The hotel is beach front in great location no driving which was a God send. Bus stop walking distance to Poole. Room had everything to make our stay comfortable. It was so nice we stayed an extra night. The bed was so comfortable and hotel so peaceful. Thank you Mary and John We will definitely be back Mr & Mrs Carpenter

The TV was abit temperamental and taps in sink just needs attention as not very powerful.

The staff were very friendly and professional. The room was very comfortable and had everything I needed. Communication was excellent and I even received a lovely email thanking me for staying. The small goodbye gift was a nice surprise too.

Superb

It is very rare encountering such kindness and care when staying at a hotel nowadays. The Management’s support to make you feel comfortable, and for you to have a fruitful stay in the city, and its surroundings, was astounding. I was very happy with my double room. It was very clean, had a most comfortable bed (a blessing for my sore back), and a large fridge - things that matters to me. I also enjoyed the lovely city view. Further, there where plenty of restaurants nearby, as well as a supermarket (Tesco), and bus stops facilitating trips to the Jurassic Coast, and the train station.

The hotel is very well-located in the city centre. Bournemouth train station, however, isn’t, so in the absence of a car, the bus trips to the station took some time. Luckily, a bus station is just around the bend.

Very enjoyable and made to feel very welcome

As others have said before, this place has a quirky charm. The owners John and Mary are really lovely, and couldn’t do enough to help us and we had many nice chats with them. We stayed in a family room and it is a great location being just over a 5 minute walk to the beach, and just a bit further to the pier and town. We really enjoyed our stay here and as we left our son asked John if we could stay there again.

We felt comfortable, Mary and John were excellent hosts but the cost was too much for what it was

The hosts were excellent and nothing was too much trouble for them. They made us feel very welcome. We booked the stay for my wife’s birthday and when Mary knew this she upgraded our room. They also helped us out with parking. The property wasn’t too far from the beach and Bournemouth shopping centre. The room was clean although there were a couple of light stains on the carpet but with it being a dark colour it was hardly noticeable. Having a fridge in the room was a plus and Mary provided fresh milk so we were able to make a nice morning tea / coffee. The TV in the room was larger than normal. The bed was spacious and comfortable. Overall the room was clean and comfortable with nice furnishings

The en-suite bathroom was a bit small and we had to squeeze into the shower because the doors didn’t open very wide. The property was a bit further away from the beach / town than we expected, walking to them was ok as it was downhill but walking back up was sometimes challenging, depending on how much we had eaten ! The outside of the property didn’t look like the pictures on Booking.com and would probably benefit from a lick of paint ? The property was graded as 4* on Booking.com but it didn’t match with our expectations with what 4* accommodation should be. On that basis we felt the cost of staying here was too much compared with similar properties in the area

Charming B&B, perfect spot and friendly hosts!

Fantastic location - super easy to get to the town centre, shops and restaurants and beach, all within walking distance. Clean and comfortable and very accommodating. Full English breakfast everyday was just what we needed to set us up for the days ahead!
