Great location, great value for money, very comfy bed and pillows, and continental breakfast was a delicious bonus!

Overall the stay was great! However, the heating in Room 2 could be better! The shower pan in Room 4 was unsteady.

Location

Small room absolutely not good for even one person, toilet interesting to go. Continental breakfast well joking was hardly any milk even from night B4. Bed side light flickering dangerous and kettle etc to close to bed and other side well lost it with tiny place to get to access toilet. Good luck anyone trying to have nice break

Very clean, efficient key code entry system, comfortable bed, plenty of warm water, pleasant breakfast room which guests can use at other times of day, well located for BIC confère centre and seafront, distant view of the sea from my second floor window

Impersonal - no member of staff on site. Serve-yourself breakfast is mainly packet cereal, cellophane-wrapped pastries, sliced bread and jam. My message about food intolerances was not read so little breakfast food was available that I could eat (apparently this was because I had responded to a Booking.com request for information about special requirements and these messages are not routinely read); when I texted the building administrator to ask if gluten-free breakfast could be provided I was politely told to buy it myself in Tesco. Other things to be aware of before booking: Parking is difficult - over a three-night/four-day stay I saw no spaces in the street; the BH2 Leisure car park that the owners suggest does not permit overnight stays and the nearest official long-stay car park is a 15 minute walk away. Situated near the top of a steep hill, this tall narrow townhouse has no lift.

Best guesthouse ever!

I love Bamboo guesthouse! this was my second visit and did not disappoint! The inside and outside of the building are decorated beautifully and very clean! Mo the owner of the guesthouse is incredible, polite and extremely helpful! I cannot wait to return next year! The breakfast selection is also amazing and has a wide variety! I really do love it 🙂

A wonderful stay at the Bamboo Guest House

We had a lovely holiday in Bournemouth. Our stay at the Bamboo Guest House was absolutely wonderful. The house is conveniently located in a quiet area, just a short walk from the town center. Our room was large, tastefully furnished, and spotlessly clean, as were the kitchen and all the other common areas. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom very attractive. The kitchen is cozy and fully equipped. Guests eat in the kitchen, which also serves as a common room if desired. Breakfast included toast, jam, a wide selection of cereals, ham, cheese, and yogurt. As for us, both the house and the breakfast left nothing to be desired. The interaction with the hostess was always enjoyable; she was approachable at all times. We thank the hostess and her team for this wonderful stay at the Bamboo Guest House!

Location, location, location

Location, location, location and very clean - The location is perfect—accessible and convenient. The place is spotlessly clean, and we appreciated that breakfast was provided. It's also very quiet, with only occasional chatter from the neighbors, which didn't bother us at all.

We had a great stay overall, but the room we booked was quite small and felt cramped—there wasn't enough space for two people and our small luggages, and there were no chairs. The tower fan was also unreliable, stopping at times. While these were minor issues (and the small room was likely our own fault for not checking the details), the excellent location and high level of cleanliness were fantastic and easily overshadowed the negatives. I'd definitely recommend this place, but make sure to double-check the room size before you book (suggest to book a bigger room).

Fantastic place

A great double room on the first floor in this very well kept guesthouse. The property is located at the top of a hill so bear this in mind. Great if you don't mind a walk. Good selection for complimentary continental breakfast each morning. Mo, the owner is a fantastic host who went out of his way to accommodate us - even left us a box of chocolates when we arrived! Thank you Mo, we will be visiting again soon!

Noisy people stayed on our past night but Mo dealt with them promptly first thing the next morning. In the height of summer I guess this can happen. Was refreshing to see it dealt with so promptly. .

Perfect stay for a couple! Will not hesitate to book again!

Great location for the BIC and the purpose of our trip! Self service was so easy to get in the property and instructions very clear. Self service breakfast each morning was perfect for us and plenty of food for all guests. Bed very comfortable, bathroom very clean.

Some areas of dust in the room - lampshade and storage areas but I am being very picky! Could have done with a few more pillows or an option to grab some more

Perfect for what we wanted.

The location was ideal for the town centre and seafront. Room was large, clean and comfy. Quiet within the house. Breakfast available. Fan in the room.

Seemed a lot of money per night for no member of staff on sight. Room was very hot as it was a hot weekend so we had windows open but outside noise was very loud. For some people they might be used to outside noise but for us we live rural so are used to quiet.

Location. Staff member very pleasant.

Very noisy early in morning. Likewise at night but that was not so bothersome. Single room, toilet in landing, not great if you need it in middle of night. Also shower only worked once out of the 3X I (tried) to use it.

Friendly manager and comfortable, nicely furnished rooms and a self serve breakfast included in the price. Close to town centre and plenty of shops, not too far from the beach. Instructions on booking about alternative other 2 free parking lots, besides the one in front of the house what we manage to park just when we arrive close to the house. Lovely experience.

The house and room are well decorated and scrupulously clean. The room was quiet, the towels were provided. The access system is good. The continental breakfast was available in the breakfast room. The choice of cereals could be greater, cheese and ham were available and yoghurt, fresh fruit and bread and milk. The location is close to the centre and a short walk up a steep hill. Parking on a Bank Holiday weekend was difficult in the street. We used an NCP nearby car park.

Perfect

I was only here for two nights but I really enjoyed my stay. The location is perfect, only a 10-15 minutes walk to the beach. The check-in was very easy and all the instructions received prior to my arrival were clear and detailed. My room was small but very cosy and with all the facilities needed: hair dryer, tea & coffee, small desk, comfortable bed. The private bathroom (close to the room) was perfect. All the guesthouse is extremely clean and quiet. The breakfast is good and you have plenty of choices. Excellent communication with Mo who is very friendly and discreet. I felt at home and I appreciated to be really independent during my stay. I will be back!

Good option if you arrive late at night because of the self check in option.

It was convenient for us arriving late at night to have self check in options. It is a regular guest house that has everything you need but quite basic.

The room was really small, even the bed was on the small side. The breakfast provided was only cold and self service, although thought through (different options of jam and fresh fruit, yogurt, toast and veg milk). We never saw a staff member.
