One night stay in Bournemouth

The staff were very welcoming and very nice people. The breakfast was good and the staff were very accomodating as we had to rush off after breakfast. The location was very good for everything you might need.

The room was a little cramped for a double and a single bed, but we were offered an additional room if needed.

Perfect place to stay for corporate travellers

The owners of the hotels are very warm and welcoming. Reception was open at all time should you need anything. Room was very clean. Breakfast in the morning was freshly prepared and tasty.

Great break away, lovely property and owners

The property is in a really good location, 5 min walk to the town and 10 min walk to beach, owners greeted us when we got there, we were actually early and were able to park our car at the property and got to check in early, room was clean and large, breakfast was excellent and owners couldn’t have been more welcoming.

Room and en suite were lovely as well as spacious. Miles and Lena are brilliant hosts. Very attentive and totally likeable. Full English was super. Would definitely stay there again if ever in Bournemouth!

Very comfortable and convenient for town centre

Didn't have breakfast due to swimming early Saturday morning and am early start Sunday had to catch the event bus to Hengistbury Head for the 10K then to catch coach home yesterday (Monday)

A very pleasant stay with hosts that were so accommodating.

Miles and Lena were perfect hosts, nothing was too much trouble. Miles made sure we could park on the front and guaranteed a first floor room for an elderly. Breakfast was excellent - good choice of cereals, etc and Miles would cook whatever you wanted.

The only thing was the location up hill from the town/pier/seafront. This was a slight issue with an elderly, but in no way reflects on the standard of the property.

We had a very bright room. Although it was on the ground floor, it was really quiet. We loved it. The fridge in the room was a bonus.

The shower was broken and there was some stains on the toilet the fridge smelled of egg.. most of all the bed wasn’t the most comfortable however taking everything into consideration it was good value for the price

Good size room, clean and cost quality as we were expecting. the management was really nice. The location was great few minutes from the beach and from the centre.

Convenient with a warm welcome.

Very friendly hosts, close to beach and BIC, room was very clean and comfortable and as a bonus, it had a fridge! Managed to secure free onsite parking for my stay too. Would definitely recommend and plan to stay again.

Old property for budget travellers

Central location

The structure is old and in need of a thorough refurbishment. Shower and bathroom have all sign of age and not appropriate cleaning, like stains on gaskets, black grout lines, etc. Shower pressure quite weak. Overall, the room could have been cleaner. Price reasonable but not great for what you get.

A very welcoming private hotel.

I could not have asked for more welcoming hosts. From the moment I arrived until I left I was well looked after. The way to the beach and town was explained to me which was greatly appreciated. The breakfast each morning was cooked fresh and certainly set me up well for the day ahead. This was a very pleasant stay. Being able to park at the door was a bonus.

A lovely hotel with very welcoming owners.

An excellent hotel. Miles and Elena were very helpful and welcoming. The breakfast was lovely, very hot and a generous portion. The room was clean and tidy with all the facilities you would want in the room. The bed was comfortable. The hotel is in a prime location just a ten minute walk to the beach and five minute walk in to city centre. I would definitely recommend staying here. Thank you for an excellent visit.

AN EXCELLENT PRIVATE HOTEL CLOSE TO AND OVERLOOKING BOURNEMOUTH TOWN CENTRE

I stayed 7 nights at this excellent private hotel close to and overlooking Bournemouth town centre. When I booked I had asked for a room that was as quiet as possible. Lena Dolphin sent me a nice email saying that they had allocated room 9 which was a very quiet room. And indeed it was. It was a very comfortable room with private bathroom, a refrigerator, tea-and-coffee making facilities and - best of all for me - a desk. I was greeted and farewelled by Miles Dolphin who seemed a very pleasant man.

No toiletries for shower so make sure to take yr own Soap provided for hand washing £15 for dog quite high but had no choice but to take her with us - payable at hotel

The location was good for my stay as it was just a 10 minute walk to eating places and the BIC.

The full English breakfast was absolutely perfect for me as it kept me going for a very long time. The bed was very comfortable with a nice duvet and the en suite facilities were very good.

Parking spaces were limited but the space I was allocated enabled my car to be off the road for the duration of my stay which was fine.
