Disgusting.

the only good thing was the location, close to BIC,.

Everything, we were put on the top floor about 5 staircases to climb, the man from reception did help us up the first time with our cases. our room was smelly filthy carpets and toilet seat kept falling down, there was no safety mat in the bath, no milk for the tea, which the tea bags were disgusting, as we bought milk out and decided to have a cup. but the whole place had stained carpets and people were cooking food below which seemed strange for a 'hotel'. we were transferred to the hotel next door when we arrived which the receptionist said they had 5 hotels? god knows what they were all like compared to ours, got up early on the day we left to get out as fast as we could. we had a one night stay to go to the BIC, but would never book this hotel again.

Practical for what I needed

Room was large and spacious. It was quiet and I slept well. Location was close to both the seafront and the town centre so good for a night out and a walk along the seafront the morning after! Shower had good water pressure and had heat immediately. A fridge with freezer section was in the room which would be good for anyone wanting to have icecubes in their drink during the summer.

The building is very tired and needs lots of tlc! Parking was not obvious as there are spaces marked at the front of the hotel but no dropped kerb to access them. I parked at the rear of the building but there was not much room and no marked spaces there. Decoration was very old and tired looking and the lights above the bed didn't work. carpet was dirty and needs replacing. Bathroom was clean but tiles etc were very old and need replacing. I only used it as a place to sleep as I was out all day and for that it did the job but due to the worn out run down look of the hotel I wouldn't want to stay with my children. I booked the hotel for it's position and cost and for that it delivered everything I needed.

This place was cheap and I still feel robbed

The view from the 3rd floor of the sea was really nice

There was no duvet on the bed and the window didn’t close so we were freezing. The carpets and furniture were all marked, onsite parking was £26 a night. When we arrived to check-in, they tried to put us in the hotel next door which was full of drunk and sketchy looking people and the room looked like the scene of a murder, the curtains were hanging off and the shower was dirty and the shower head was a hose on the floor, the room didn’t look like it’s even been cleaned from the last guests. The excuse for trying to move us was building works starting at 8am on Sunday and we’d be disturbed, which seemed nearly impossible on the 3rd floor but we checked out at 9:30 and there wasn’t a builder in sight. Will never stay in either of these hotels again.

Very poor accomodation have never been in a hotel that bad , holes in curtains, black net?? Chipped furniture tv i pad size didnt work , stained carpets, bedding was all creased and horrible all and all glad to leave asap in morning

Health hazard

The ONLY good thing about this hotel is the location

This hotel is a health hazard. Black mold and damp rooms, the owners are vile and only helped when threatened with being reported for being a health hazard. The whole hotel stinks. The whole hotel is filthy. Not just grubby, but actually filthy. Black mold above the bed, moldy bathroom, rude owners.

Ok for one night literally to sleep and shower in

The location was good as only 5 mins walk from the beach

Firstly wasn’t even in the hotel I paid for was in a partnering hotel 5 mins away. I requested a sea view room did not get this. The number combination lock on main door was temperamental and didn’t always work. Rooms were extremely hot had to have windows open but where on main road there was outside noise The tv facilities were ok but remote control did not work so had to keep tv off

Windows was disgusting couldn’t see out dead flys in Windows and on the floor beds was broken mould in the bathroom tap

Nothing only location

Gone 3am in the morning people running around slamming doors smoking weed laughing out side my door made the night unbearable and unsafe specially I had my 7 year old granddaughter she was scared no sleep at all night felt unsafe our room was discussing no light couldn’t see in the dark

Overall very good

Did not have breakki as had to make early start home as the train travel became bus and coach but fault of hotel. They gave me an early call which was very helpful . I would use it again as it was close to amenities . Thank you all

TERRIBLE

Nothing, Hotel was poor, really outdated and in fact dirty,

Everything, WE WERE MOVED TO A DIFFERANT HOTEL, WE DIDNT BOOK, AND IT WAS DIRTY AND IN A POOR SHAPE, I WILL NEVER BOOK THIS HOTEL AGAIN AND IF I COULD GIVE YOU ONE PIECE OF ADVICE I WOULD SUGGEST YOU FIND ANOTHER PLACE TO STAY.

Good Location & Comfy, Tidy Bedrooms.

The water in the building or the pipe work needs fixing. My bathrooms water was fine but took at least 5 minutes to get warm. My friends room, had very dirty water and it came out all brown. We were on the second floor.

Location was good

Poor management, arrived to the property with the manager shouting and arguing with a guest. Very unprofessional. And when dealing with me he was extremely rude been on a phone call while dealing with my check in all this whilst not speaking English

Dirty and Disgusting

The location was great, the staff were pleasant and helpful when asked to swap a broken chair. Fridge in the room was great to keep drinks cold.

The room was outdated, dirty and dusty. The bathroom was disgusting, shower had mould in it and the room was very hot. NOT worth the money I paid for the room.

Looking at the outside it looks lovely. The only positive I can give this space is that the bedding and towel were perfectly clean and crisp.

Just opening my door was the start. It didn’t fully open as there was a fridge/freezer behind it. The room had a strong damp odour. The window was open when I arrived and it was still very apparent. There was a huge damp patch on the ceiling above the bed. (Image attached) The whole base of the bed had damp stains across it (image attached) There had obviously been some work done in the shower but huge chunks of plaster/grout were stuck over the shower tray. It was definitely not cleaned well prior to my arrival as there were hairs in the shower also.

The location was okay, we were lucky to have a great view of the sea (the only positive).

We were waiting for at least 30 minutes at reception waiting to check in - with lots of commotion in the streets outside. We eventually got up to our room: broken curtain rail, broken cupboard, shower went cold very quickly, outdated room, felt unsafe. This would have been okay if was priced at a quarter of what we paid. The place has a lot of potential with a bit of care and TLC from the owners!

Good Location close to the beach, ideal for one night. The bed and the pillow were comfortable.

The door of the bathroom was broken, and the shower was not given enough water, so was a bit uncomfortable to take a proper shower. But the rest was nice to have one night with clean air from the sea.

there is nothing to as positively for this property. I never been somewhere and been so disappointed

the bath was held together with sellotape. mould around windows and blinds. clearly a water leak above our room as ceiling was bulging to name a few. when we contacted booking.com regarding the issues the property failed to reply and no refund could be given. avoid at every chance you get to stay here.

Location

Room was filthy, toe nails and hair all over the carpet! I insisted it was hoovered straight away. Bath side held on by sellotape, windows moldy and in poor repair. Double be had no top sheet on it, just a bed spread. We had to pay to park there and although we had a small dog refused to pay the £20 charge, it was filthy the floor.
