Central to everything. Although no aircon, we had two tower fans which helped. ,

The flies in bedroom. However staff did provide us with fly spray and that helped. Breakfast lacked flavour and coffee was not good.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. They arranged flowers and a delicious chocolate cake for our anniversary on our request, which our kids loved. We also appreciated the thoughtful setup of the travel cot with bedding and extra padding for our little one. The breakfast was excellent, and the location is perfect- just a short walk from the beach and pier. The sea view from the room was lovely.

On arrival, the furniture was quite dusty and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned for a while. However, reception dealt with it promptly after we raised it. The furniture and TV are a little dated, the Wi-Fi was occasionally slow, and parking could be better. We had requested a disabled parking space, but none was available, so we had to squeeze into a very tight spot. The sea-view room was great, although the bed placement meant we couldn’t fully enjoy the view while lying in bed.

My ground floor room was a great size, airy with added benefit of a sofa. All very clean. The staff are great, very obliging and do their upmost to deal with, and fix, issues in a hotel that has very recently changed ownership.

The hotel requires a major re-fit. It's very 'tired' with lots of minor issues because the fixtures and fittings are at 'end of life'. The basic breakfast could be much improved by addition of fruit and choice of breads!
