Never again.

Nothing.

Lack of staff. Called the number on the door 6 times before the call was answered to be greeted by the owner was who 5 minutes away. The number advertised on booking.com also doesn’t work. The room was Baltic, the radiator didn’t work or heating in the old build wasn’t on. There was a stale smell of cigarette smoke in the room even though advertised as a non smoking building. Parking is stated however it’s pot luck on the side of the road as to whether you get a spot. We felt uncomfortable to stay so moved to a different well known hotel instead.

The heating was not on and even when I asked the night-time receptionist, he said he will ask the landlord to switch it on, but it was not on at all. However, it was a good experience in overall.

The worst stay of my life

This was one of the most traumatic experiences of my life. First night there were some strange characters hanging outside the hotel, with one guest letting me in and then making me feel very unsafe they way he started to flirt with me. Then I had to wait some good 10 minutes for someone to come to the reception and check me in. The receptionist basically looked like he was going to bad and greeted me in what looked like pjamas. I was finally checked into my room - which had two single beds. Whilst everything looked fine on the first look there were some serious holes in the wall by the plug. After first night staying there I got horribly looking marks on my skin, which i can only attribute to bed bugs, it was absolutely awful! We complained to the hotel team who changed the sheets but when we said we don't feel like its suitable for us to stay there the receptionist said he cannot do anything for us and that the manager will give us a call to discuss a refund that we requested. I never received a call and never got any refund, I ended up needing to go to A&E to get the antihestamin to calm my wounds! Really harrowing experience stay away!!!!

Not good

Was a good location.

The room look clean but during the night my wife was not able to sleep she feel bitten for some king of bug that she was not able to see till she get one. My wife end with an infection on her eye has to go to hospital and not able to work for a few days. According the photo of the bug we have looks like a bed bug

Excellent value simple en-suite rooms great location

Excellent location just a few steps around the corner to a few good restaurants and two pubs and 10min stroll to beach and pier. Friendly helpful staff, not always on reception but no issue as a quick phone call and within a minute they were on hand. Easy key drop leave in room. En-suite with TV and tea coffee biscuits provided. You’d struggle find these facilities at these good prices, as long as people don’t expect the Ritz and rate this clean simple accommodation fairly restive to price you can’t fault it or the staff

We have had 2 rooms , both very clean and everything looks nice, in the room you've got tea and coffee, water plus biscuits 😋, bed was very comfortable 👌 5 minutes walk from pier , location is perfect ,owner very polite and helpful

A lovely hotel in a great location

The owner was very warm, friendly and accommodating. As he had a better room available, he upgraded me from a single room with a shared bathroom to a double room en suite. I did keep him updated on my expected arrival as I was travelling by train and I think that he appreciated that. I saw him around virtually every day and he was always asking if there was anything I needed. Breakfast is not available at the hotel, but there are plenty of places to eat within a five minute walk.

The location was superb. The beach was close by though there were steps going down and up.There was a lift nearby if troubled by steps.

Location is great

When sat on the toilet the whole system moved and came off the floor, I booked a deluxe queen and deluxe double, the guy didn’t have any doubles left so had to have a twin room as that’s what was left. The shower you can not swing a cat in there, struggled to shower properly as kept banging the door/walls shower door kept opening. We only used this space to rest at night as we didn’t want to stay in the rooms as much as we wanted. And the baths towels provided were ripped, one room didn’t even have any loo roll in there.

My stay at this guest house in Bournemouth was nothing short of exceptional. Hash, the owner, played a significant role in making my visit truly memorable with his genuine and funny personality. The location was perfect with a lovely 5-minute scenic walk to the main beach and pier. The guest house itself was a haven of comfort and tranquility. I wholeheartedly recommend this guest house to anyone visiting Bournemouth and looking for a memorable and enjoyable stay.

I enjoyed it very much.

I had booked a single room with shared bathroom and got an upgrade to a twin room with ensuite bathroom. I especially liked the fact that there was a fridge in my room. Staff were very friendly and wanted to make my stay as pleasant as possible.

Total bonkers!

It was close to the beach.

We checked into our room and the bed wasn’t made, the carpet hadn’t been hoovered, there were no towels or toilet roll. The heating didn’t come on, we had to request it after our second night as the room was that cold. The wardrobe was broken. A member of staff was hoovering rooms at 10:40pm at night.

The staff on reception was welcoming and friendly. The room was clean and as expected, and overall the place was quiet and perfect for an overnight stay.

The fact there was people staying there hanging around in groups on the stairs as we were entering/leaving the building. It felt a little intimidating.

Can’t wait to come back!

It was lovely, clean and homely. A home away from home, really comfortable and had the best sleep! The owner and staff were really friendly, helpful and went out of their way to help with anything I needed. It’s the little things they did that made the stay wonderful and the bed was sooo comfortable. Only 10/15mins walk away from the beach too - I couldn’t have had a better stay! I have recommended your hotel to my family and friends and I can’t wait to come back!
