Location, Location, Location!! This place is right on the river, and super close to the center. You can walk everywhere - to all the main attractions, to the bars and restaurants. Thankfully they also had safe parking spot (that was included in the price). The staff is very friendly and gave us helpful tips, the included breakfast was good enough for a nice start of the day. The hotel also had an elevator, so it was easy for elderly person from our group. Our room had a direct view of the river which we enjoyed very much.

The staff and breakfast were wonderful. The location was close to the city walls and a short walk to central Lucerne. Try and get a room overlooking the river.
It is not what I would call a "Boutique" Hotel as the rooms are very basic. However the beds and shower were great. We were able to get an upgrade to River View which was great, however the bed was under a beam which made it hard to get in and out of!
