Relaxing stay and good location.

Room, location and pool. Well connected for access to Edinburgh city centre.

Pool lockers need attention. Spin drier would be good for wet swim wear. Room shower made bathroom floor very wet, Screen needs attention. This also happened when we last stayed.

Excellent hotel, located near tram route.

Located directly next to the city tram so easy access into city or out to airport. Clean fresh room and nice open bar area. Good leisure facilities.

Really enjoyed our stay

From the minute we checked in the receptionist told us everything we needed to know and was very friendly. She gave us advice on trams etc . All staff in every department was polite and helpful . We would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family

The pool is lovely and can get busy . On our stay a family brought big inflatables into the pool . I know this isn’t the hotels fault but maybe restrictions on inflatables so other guests can enjoy

Perfect family night away.

Amazing hotel. Pool was brilliant, took our baby for her first swim and its the calmest I have ever seen her, was nice and cosy. Lovely rooms and location also.

Not many changing rooms and changing room floor was sailing with water.

Very good stay and money well spent

Unfortunately I did not get to use the facilities as I was only there for 1 night. I thought all the staff that was on duty in reception were super friendly and accommodating ie being able to drop off my luggage

I could not fault anything ahhh actually it would of been nice to have a complinentary bottle of water in the fridge.

Lovely stay in Edinburgh. Hotel was accessible to tram for access to airport and city centre

Room was comfortable and decent size. Facilities in general good

Window wouldn’t open in room so we asked to change rooms which was facilitated without any issue and politely handled by staff. However, the window issue was a known issue so could have avoided having to move

Lovely hotel near airport

Arrived late for a very short overnight stop for an early morning flight. Was upgraded to executive suite on arrival which was lovely. Nespresso machine and very nice complimentary toothbrush, toohpaste soap etc. Just 9 mins from the airport - easy drive. Staff pleasant.

Great stay but be patient with restaurant.

Location, price, decor, cleanliness, staff, professionalism, appearance, facilities.

The restaurant at times seemed a little unprofessional. I arrived and my room was not yet ready so was told I could have lunch. I do not have a reservation so seated in the bar, but no one came to take my order. I walked up to someone who worked there and was ignoring me after having taken someone else’s order And was immediately asked if I had a reservation instead of being helped when I was seated for a long time already. I don’t like that gratuity is forced on the bill. It should be added for service well done, not automatically added as a fee to the bill which defeats the purpose of tipping for service. I did not feel that that experience justified a service fee. At a prior stay, I was not given a steak knife, so by the time I flagged someone for help my steak had gotten cold. In all, it is very difficult to get someone’s attention for help at the restaurant after being served. Also, no one has ever come to ask me how my meal was which is standard practice in restaurants.

What could have been a comfortable stay was anything but ,not a brand to stay with in winter.

The hotel was a modern with pleasant rooms

The room was cold ,so cold that I woke up several times that night . The thermostat displayed 26.5 degrees which I would suggest was false . When I arrived in the room the curtains were drawn over a wide open window in the middle of winter . This I only discovered after dinner however closing the window made little diffence to the room temp.

First time in Edinburgh

It was close to public transport, the staff it was really friendly and helpful. The room and all other facilities where nice and clean.

The only minus it's the noise made by trains as it's next to train and tram station.

Safe, Comfortable and Semi-Modern

The breakfast was a fantastic addition to our stay. The option to have a fry up or a continental was great. The layout of breakfast was fantastic.

Felt as though the hotel was a little cheeky for asking customers to pay for parking. It would of been better if parking prices were included in the hotel room price and not as an add on. Otherwise, we had a pleasant stay.

Loved the breakfast, they really had everything thought out well. Loved the pool and the fact we could go for a late evening dip. Loved how you could get the lift from your room right down to the pool without having to walk through reception.

Excellent stay

An excellent stay at Novotel Edinburgh Park for a short business trip. The staff could not have been more helpful, and the room was spacious, bright and clean. I was given a room on the top floor with a small balcony and great views over the Pentland Hills. I also enjoyed a quick swim in the pool and a trip to the steam room and sauna.

Fab choice

The efficiency of staff, the food in the restaurant was excellent and all staff so friendly. The beds were comfortable, sheets and bedroom were so fresh and clean. The shower was fab. It's all just had a refurb. There's a fab pool and leisure facilities. The hotel is superbly placed for access into Edinburgh by either train or tram. 3 min walk from hotel and run every few minutes. It takes 15 mins to centre.

There could be more hooks in the bathroom to hang all towels up. We were in a two, but only 1 hand towel was provided. That was quickly rectified.

3 night break in Edinburgh

The location is ace, tram/train station so near, lots of shops around too, tesco, aldi, tkmax, home bargains. Also kfc and Krispy Creme across from hotel. Love the swimming pool too, this is the 2nd time we have stayed here, also stayed at the Novotel Hotel next to Edinburgh Castle once, would definitely recommend to anyone, and hopefully we will return again.
