Our room was very comfortable and the welcome pack was much appreciated. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good and fully stocked even though the hotel was busy. Really liked the addition of a pancake machine. Air conditioning was fine and it was nice to be able to open the windows too. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Reception were really nice but they couldn’t find our booking. Managed to get us a room but was right beside the elevator so very loud throughout the night and morning with cleaners. Stains all over the floors not great when ur paying £440 a room

Stayed 3 nights our room was awful, carpets/bed sides/chair all badly stained...bath plug broken...no sink plug...turned the air conditioning on the 2nd night it smelled so bad we turned it off couldnt sleep in the room and had to change rooms too a tiny standard double room...which was also unclean.

I don’t expect the washroom that Hotel Holiday Inn is providing in £200 a day. I have better washroom at home. Especially , the shower was terrible. The breakfast was good. The room was also clean but there was no chair, table, drawer, fridge or wardrobe in the room. I won’t recommend this hotel in this price. I personally feel that the room and services do not worth £200.

They gave us room which was on construction zone and different floors. We went to room and the entire floor was being repaired. We had to have major discussion to give us new room but still on the different floor. One of the room never had phone to call for the Service and on other they did but no body picked up. The rooms were too small no view a weird size table without any chair. The window was broken. If we open, it tilted on one side and we had to call some staff to close it and could never open again. Holiday inn has lost its charm.

Disappointed with our room. Smelled from mould on windowsills and bathroom, blocked drain, stained towels, peeling paint, big brown stains on carpet, bed sheets not on properly over mattress, needed to request towels. Beds were comfy. Breakfast and dinner were nice, though no staff in attendance one morning so there were empty containers etc.

The staff at the hotel were really friendly. Everyone I interacted with were very polite and helpful. The room was a little small and the bathroom, although clearly recently updated, didn't have good ventilation and there was a smell during my stay. Additionally the aircon in the room didn't work and it was surprisingly warm for Scotland! I was staying for work so the room/bathroom wasn't really an issue for me this time but if I was staying for leisure/longer I would have raised these with the hotel directly. The pleasant nature of all the staff members more than made up for it!

An amazing Hotel to bem in Edinburgh. All of the team are kind and hellpfull always you need. Great view from my room. Food is delicious and with good price. And you have many stores near there, like supermarkets, pharmacy, eletronics and more.

This hotel is a 1/2 hour walk from city centre. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was great. The shower wouldn’t drain properly, they sent someone to put something down to clear it. It still didn’t drain properly so you had short showers or overflows. The room itself is tiny. Thankfully we didn’t have to spend much time in it.

The room temperature is fixed in reception desk at a low temperature. Is inacceptable that the client does not have the option to decide when and what temperature desires in his own room. There are just a few channels on TV. Breakfast is always the same in all Holiday Inn hotels, boring american stile.
