The location was close to the 'Royal Mile'. The room was spacious. Breakfast was well presented with alot of choice.
There was no lock on the bathroom door. There was no comfortable seating in the room. Exorbitant Room only price for a city centre hotel.

The location is excellent, just a short walk from the train station and very close to the Royal Mile. If you're traveling with suitcases, make sure to take the route via Market Street and Jeffrey Street to avoid stairs.
The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet, and the breakfast offered a good variety of options.
Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay and would definitely recommend this hotel.

There aren't plugs by the bed, but they provide one extension chord, so one of the two of you will have access to a plug at your bedside. We opted for two twins over a double. It was a good choice since its a bigger amount of space. They are pushed quite close together so it's almost like a king. They don't service the rooms until late in the day. They knocked on our door around (17:00/5:00 PM the first day). We asked for an earlier service for the day and they accommodated. I would say as someone with dietary issues, the breakfast was the only disappointment. it's expensive. (I'm not sure if we had a deal). The eggs seems like they weren't fresh, maybe from a powder??? There weren't really good gluten-free options. The fruit was disappointing. The coffee was an abomination. The location is good and you could easily find breakfast elsewhere, even though it's really nice to wake-up and head downstairs prior to heading out for the day. Not bad at all, but not stellar experience. We care a lot about the location and that was fantastic.
The breakfast. It didn't offer adequate options for people with dietary issues. It was poor quality food for the most part. By day two I only ate, the bacon and a mandarin. I brought my own powdered coffee by day three.
