Convenient location, but overpriced for what it offers

The location was quite good - close to the airport and city centre (by bus). The shower was ok and I think the milk was available for your tea.

The mothball smell - mostly in the corridor, but you could smell it in the room as well (and we might have seen a moth). The house is near the main road, so it's quite loud. I recommend taking the ear plugs.

It was fine, once we got settled. Just wish there had been some communication.

Location! Easy to get buses!

No communication from the owners! We had traveled all night and wanted to drop off our luggage. I had emailed the day before from the states and called several times when we arrived. No one ever responded. We had to carry our luggage around all day, as we didn’t get the code until much later in the day. No hair dryer, shampoo or conditioner. Not a problem as I carry my own. Just wish I had known.

Good for one overnight stay

Location was ideal for airport

Shared bathroom - wouldn’t be a problem if not joining onto room as no soundproofing and thin walls meant we were wakened every time someone used the toilet or shower. Even to the extent of farting and rolling off toilet paper unfortunately

Good location comfy room close to shops

It was a warm and cozy room with good bathroom facilities, perfect for a night sleep, in a good location away from the huddle and bustle of the city center so only a short drive to the shops and attractions

There wasn’t anything to dislike the room was just what we need, apart from no sugar left with the teas and coffee facilities but that was probably just an oversight, overall very happy

The host opened the door for us even we came around 00:45 am because of our delayed flights. And I thank him for that. ❤️

Good location for airport bus

It was the only affordable option near to the airport due to the festival. It was functional but very small.

The smell of mothballs in the corridor and my room was overwhelming and made my eyes water. The family live there and communication was an issue. I had heavy cases and could not get them up two flights of stairs (no offer of help) and wasn't ready when I arrived an hour after check in.

Nothing if I had to be picky the walls are thin and could hear footsteps from the room above but that’s been really picky! It didn’t bother us

Good value for money for one night stay before an early flight.

We had a small room in the basement, and it was good value for money as we needed just one night before leaving early. It takes less than 15 mins to get to the airport. There are two big stores nearby if you need anything last minute. The room is clean, tea/coffee - what do you need more? Self check-in was smooth and fast.

It was not that easy to get from the center. We took a train and then it was a longer walk from the station. You will hear every step of the other guests above you.

Not much.

Start with the fact that this was a self check in property… which I am pretty sure was never disclosed prior to final email information. Poor lighting around the entrances so I got to hear other lodgers struggling to get in to their units at 1 in the morning. Lots of road noise. “ Breakfast” was a joke. A jar of corn flakes on a table in the room and milk ( already opened) in the mini fridge.

Fantastic location, great to stop at for the night before a flight the next day

Great location, middle point between the train station and the airport, with bus stops all around. Place was clean and cozy, shower was great. Appreciated the fridge in the room and free WiFi which had a strong signal.

It was difficult to get into the room, you have to open the door IMMEDIATELY after typing in the code, delaying for just a second made it too late, had to try again. Took about 7-8 tries.

This was a nice and comfy unit in a ‘conveniently close to the airport’ location.

Access to the unit was available outside. The parking area behind the fence was nice and roomy. USB charger in the socket by the bed. Cereal and tea available in unit. Owner was very friendly and recommended some restaurants down the road.

More personal issue: Initial confusion talking with person we thought was the owner (very kind, but no English) because we didn’t check the message on booking (with the unit number and door lock combo). The pump for the water (shower, sink & toilet) had a very odd grinding sound

Perfect for Edinburgh stay

Clean, comfortable room. Basic but met our needs perfectly. Cereal and milk provided for breakfast which was a lovely touch. Location was perfect-10 mins on bus to city centre and 20 mins from airport with bus stops on the doorstep. Host allowed us to leave bags on final day as we had a very late flight. Would definitely stay here again.

Pics don't do it justice. Much nicer in person. Small but efficient layout. Access to a fridge and microwave and breakfast items was great! Location was perfect for us, especially since we needed parking.

Our accommodation was roomy, comfortable, secure and had good facilities. The fridge, jug and cereals and milk were appreciated. Owner was very helpful detailing exact bus number to get into town, bus stop within minutes walk.

Perfect location for us, perfectly serviceable.

Location was perfect for us. Between the airport and the city, on a good bus route. Comfy room. Very squeaky floorboards. Breakfast was available on the landing, containers of cereal. Milk was available in the fridge, also on the landing. No where to eat though. On a very busy main road with constant traffic noise. Not a problem for us as the bed was comfy so slept well.

Breakfast facilities. No where to sit and eat or even have a cuppa except sitting on the bed. Didn’t see the owner at all.
