Room was spacious, well kept and very thoughtful on layout. Staff were fantastic! Couldn’t do enough and manners through the roof. Would definitely come again.

First night ok, except only one coffe pod and there was two guests. At check-in they mixes my booking up. We also asked for daily turn down of the room, this did not happen. Our second night no running cold water toilet wouldnt flush. Last morning while cold water was back hot water was dirty and had black fragments in it. Had to leave hotel early as could not stay there any longer. Upon checkout when telling reception they offered a free coffee, totally unacceptable. Wouls never stay there again.

The reception staff were lovely, friendly and efficient. The breakfast was fantastic. The room was a bit cold but I don’t mind that as I’m usually trying to make the room cooler. I only discovered once I was in bed that the two beds had different duvets in them and I ended up taking the thicker one off the bed and sleeping under two. I did get a great night’s sleep The bathroom mirror was a bit worn, the silver was coming off at the top, I think because wet had got in. The shower was ok and the towels were great. Now the not so good thing. I travel a lot and sometimes I leave things behind - it happens. I realised when I got home that I had left my electric toothbrush and toothpaste behind. I contacted the hotel that evening and waited for a reply. That came the following day and they said they would need to contact housekeeping. Fair enough. I waited. Then I contacted the hotel again. Again they said they hadn’t spoken with housekeeping and I’d have to wait until the next day. I waited. Nothing. I asked if they had found the toothbrush. Nothing. So now I assume I have to replace the toothbrush so that will cost me the best part of £100. I’m very disappointed with the lack of communication.

Hotel is outdated. On checking in I was asked whether I wanted the room to be cleaned, which I agreed too. However, during my 3 day stay the room was only cleaned once, where I had to go and remind them. The phone in the room wasn't working so had to go to reception in order to speak to them. In addition, WiFi was poor in the rooms, which they addressed after making a complaint. I was with a work colleague who also had similar issues with the WiFi. The food was poor and over priced. As a result I saw a number of people getting deliveries to reception. I decided to eat out. Would I recommend this hotel, personally no. But each to their own.

The heater in the room was not working. It felt extremely cold even after it stayed on for over 2 hours. The room was quite cold however the person at reception helped me get a portable heater which finally helped with getting the room warmed up.

Constant noise(shouting/screaming) for three of the six days. The room was scruffy(paint,carpet). Most of the lights in the room did not work. Upon arrival we was given an accessible room. (Quite insulting to assume) Coffee machine did not work in the restaurant area. I was stood at the bar for 15 minutes until I realised quite clearly no one was doing there job. The room was cleaned three times out of the six days! That’s absolutely disgraceful!! We were left to go out and buy our own toilet rolls. We have stayed two years ago and it was amazing. Unfortunately now I can not say the same. I have all relevant photos and videos of all I have mentioned above. I would expect a full refund as this has ruined our holiday.

Booked a double/king room but was given an accessible room with two singles pushed together. When I asked to change, reception said they were fully booked. I checked online and saw double rooms still available for that night. Only after pointing this out did the receptionist suddenly “find” a room. Very disappointing and dishonest service.

We stayed for three nights to attend a match at Murrayfield. Handy for the tram and bus routes into the city and the stadium. Pleasant and friendly staff, the room as spacious and clean. The pressure in the shower was not brilliant but not a major problem.
