Breakfast very good! Was impressed. Staff excellent, friendly and efficient. The lady I initially spoke to on how to get into Edinburgh city was very knowledgeable and helpful.

New EV chargers. The whole place has had a refurb, and, whereas previously it was unpleasant, this time we enjoyed our stay. It was cleaner, better maintained, and the staff seemed more motivated. Caveat: we only stayed one night, so don't know whether they'd have cleaned daily if we'd asked.
Great toiletries in the bathroom, including conditioner and body lotion.
The car park potholes are still rather awful.

Room was lovely clean and airy and large.
Breakfast was good.
Swimming pool and staff lovely.
Found all staff friendly and helpful.
Porridge was very cool and a bit thin.
Changing rooms at the pool a bit cramped and locker’s in male changing room not working.

Restaurant, bar and reception staff were excellent.
Ideal location.
Pool area was dirty, facilities didn’t work and apparently haven’t for months! out dated.
Rooms are very dated and not up to today’s standard! 2 star hotel max
