It was very clean and the staff were lovely
The room was a sweat box! There was no way to open the window more than a crack. It’s was unbearably hot most of the time.

Property is okay
Someone was shouting on the floor in the middle of the night, and no one really cared about it. No one really provided any compensation, despite the fact that I couldn’t sleep until 3 a.m.

The staff were horrible, especially one gentleman, he was a nightmare, I have sugar and my collegue has type 2 diabetes, we arrived and had to park in the Morrisons car park. We entered the building both me and my collegue needed the toilet, we asked for some toilet roll as there wasn’t any in the toilet, the gentleman didn’t seem interested, after asking the fourth time he Dixie’s to bring out the toilet roll, but wouldn’t give to us, he said it’s my job and il go and put it in the toilet. The gentleman then went for a walk, and returned a few minutes later, my collegue almost wet himself, I explained to the gentleman, my collegue is diabetic, we have come a long way, and we needed the rolls urgently, he apologised and said he didn’t realise, I explained I couldn’t mention any being infront of my collegue. The 2 African and the English lady were amazing, the careless gentleman wanted us to walk around the building, the English lady sorted out the fob after many attempts so that it would work on the back door. Then he than kept arguing with her and telling her it won’t work.
There were no toiletries in the room, or any toilet roll in the main toilets near the reception as you enter

Location was perfect & the accommodation had everything we needed, a bus stand outside with a 15 minute ride into leith.
Nothing

Very little. Staff did their best.
It wasn't very clean. It was loud and noisy. It was extremely basic. No bin in the room, no hangers in the wardrobe, no chair to sit on other than a desk chair. The carpet hadn't been hoovered and the room smelt of cigarettes smoke. They wouldn't move me.

Location and staff was very good. Receptionist always aware if we need anything. Good connection with public buses.
The room was too small for a couple (it was an individual room), specially the bed ( a bit hard too). In this sense and considering all I think that was too expensive for what they offered.

There was free parking. The staff were helpful. On a bus route to town.
When we arrived just before 10pm, our room wasn't ready, so we had to wait and switch rooms. The room was very hot. The second day the fridge in the common kitchen had been switched off, so I had to salvage all of my food.

There's no bin in the entire Room.
Clogged sink in the bathroom.
Very poor shower.
All my belongings in the room disappeared after Day 1 as the cleaning service thought my stay was over. They were found 30 mins in black bin bag after I reported the issue to the receptionist

The staff, location, kitchen facilities etc were great.
It’s just not a double bed, it is not a bed for two people. It’s a large single bed.
The premium rooms had misleading photos looking to have a living area.

The staff at the reception tried to be helpful and collaborative with our complaints regarding the very uncomfortable mattress, but there is a poor management of the structure at the higher levels of the administration, I think.
The mattress was very uncomfortable, me and my girlfriend were not able to sleep due to the lack of sufficient padding of the cheap mattresses used. We were feeling the pressure of the metal coil springs on our bones. So, after the first night, I tried to ask at the reception for a replacement of the mattress, but after some discussion with their managers, they offered us some work-around putting duvets on top of the mattress to soften the effect of the coil springs on our bodies.
Afterwards, I tried to contact them and Booking, asking for some compensation due to the lack of a basic element for a bedroom, the mattress, but after one month I still did not get any answer to my requests.

We came during the festival so obviously accommodation is hard to find, and it was expensive for what we got. Finding the place and key at night was a bit if a quest, but instructions were clear including ' take forty steps to the right ! ;-) The staff were good and it was clean. The beach and a great cafe are nearby with a lovely spot to swim in the sea at Wardie Bay and an easy bus into the city centre.
The beds and room are not big enough for two people, or two teenagers in our case and the mattresses very uncomfortable, we had to sleep on the towels. The rooms are pretty small and functional.

For two elderly people, not so convenient… for a couple… bed way to small

Decent location 20-25 minute bus journey into Edinburgh centre. Student rooms with private en-suites.
Beds were a little uncomfortable but not unsleepable.

The staff was terrific and helped me with several odd requests including printing documents and lending me scissors. Room and sheets were clean and was able to park my car off the road for the night. Overall it is exactly what I was expecting given the price point.
Overall don't have any negative feedback. The sink took some time to drain the water I was using but honestly that is just me nitpicking now.
