Fabulous hotel, lovely warm welcome when checking in, accommodation amazing staying in Rippledean Lodge. Set away from the main building on the edge of a wooded valley and the water fall in the valley which could hear from the lodge. It was beautifully furninshed, comfy bed and well equipped with a great big spa bath/ shower. Outside seating area. Breakfast was great, lots of choice from the hot cooked order menu or buffet breakfast and continental. All the staff we meet where friendly and house keeping very attentive. Excellent connection to the local roads and Lake District areas. Would recommend and definitely be back in the future.
Wifi could be better not very stable and intermittent connection.

I died and went to heaven staying here. If your looking for a romantic beautiful hotel then this is it. The grounds are gorgeous and the room was amazing with a huge step in jaccuzi bath. I didn’t want to go home. Staff were also amazing and helpful.

The location and the idea of the lodge is nice in theory…
In reality the the very small lodge was far too cramped for a family of four
