Clean, big room.

No pool access, no beach access due to the missile attacks in Dubai, this ruined our trip.

Painful check in and check out process ..

HOUSE KEEPING The rooms were always kept clean and nice touches by the house keeping team.

We booked 4 rooms over half term but the experience was not great. CHECK IN PROCESS The check in process was slow ... the guy on check in took 45 minutes and then told us all the rooms were on different floors. When we requested he tried to put at least 2 rooms together (as we had elderly parents with us) he spent another 15 minutes moving all the rooms and rather than explaining that he had now moved us to pool view (noisy) rooms rather than ocean view that we had paid for, he did it without saying anything. The next morning, we requested to be moved again to rooms that we had paid for. In the case of our elderly parents, the luggage was finally moved from the old room at midnight !!! There was some confusion at first as some items hadn't been packed, but we soon packed these items and told reception around 4pm but it still took until midnight to get the cases moved .. CHECK OUT On check out, we received no invoice and the guy on check out said there's nothing to pay but now we see charges on the card which we never had the opportunity to check. We are now painfully talking to them via live chat to obtain a copy invoice. BREAKFAST The breakfast room is so busy. You get a table quickly but it's not a relaxed experience. HOUSE KEEPING The rooms were always kept clean and nice touches by the house keeping team.

Exceptional experience, will definitely be back

The hotel, staff and facilities were exceptional. Everything was extremely well maintained and clean. The choice of food at the restaurants was extensive and had something for everyone. Will definitely be back with my family. The cleaning staff of floor 2 was extremely helpful and the room was impeccably maintained. Rava even left small decorative towels in the form of animals for my young daughter which she loved.

The hotel/resort was magnificent!

Breakfast was amazing as champagne was included, i loved that. we also had a wide range of food to choose from catering for all especially my kids. The hotel having amenities like starbucks, highend restuarants like NOBU was also a highlight for us especially coming from Zambia where these facilities do not exist. I also love the free shuttle betwen the Palm and and the Royal, this gave my family an opportunity to watch the water and fire show at the royal for 2 nights. I highly recommend this hotel especially that room bookings come with free access to the Aquaventure theme park.

You have to try Atlantis The Palm!

Absolutely mind blowing hotel with the best facilities, views, restaurants and insanely huge water park Aquaventue attached. Highly recommend the Imperial Club option for express check in, food thru the day and happy hour. The breakfast buffets are possibly unmatched!

I had an issue with payment processing which took quite a lot of back and forth delayed emails to resolve. The staff were great and the issue was fixed but I had no way to make a direct call to the hotel from another country. Would have been ideal if this could have been discussed via the phone to fast track the issue. But in the end all was good.

An amazing time! The hotel luxurious, the fish amazing,and memories to treasure for a life time.

The little touches when the staff cleaned the room, the fishes on the power cord, the lens cleaners, laundry bags and book marks. The Atlantis bag supplies in the room was also more handy then I anticipated. Of course the aquarium is stunning. I could have stayed looking at the fish all day.

Upon checking in I was asked to leave a deposit. It was explained that it was for things like if I used the mini bar- never having stayed here before I was unaware that all restaurants and drinks would be put on a my room tab. Which was fine, it would have been better if that was explained whilst checking in that the deposit was for that also. Minor issue. But full disclosure is important. We also did feel very far away from everything which can’t be helped with this location, to get public transport was time consuming and taxis expensive.

A must do for couples!

It was a stunning property, very much like walking into a dream whether the huge aquarium in the middle of the hotel, the beautiful glass art at the entrance, it was always very clean, the staff were super friendly and helpful, honestly I thought I would go and say this is a once in a lifetime thing but now I feel like going on each of our anniversary there. The park being in the hotel is amazing, the restaurants are top tier, the view from our room was beautiful, the amenities were all there. Honestly we couldn’t ask for better it was mesmerising from start to finish. Would 100% recommend. If you have the budget I would suggest going on one of the helicopter rides they offer at the hotel, it was also a wow experience.

It is really expensive but you get what you pay for like in terms of experiences it is unmatched. My only real problem was the morning buffet if you have a severe nuts allergy don’t bother paying for the breakfast as almost everything contained traces of nuts which made the breakfast experience not so great for my partner. And the bathroom door in our room did not lock or close at all which is a minor thing but for the price you pay I expected no flaw in the room whatsoever. But all in all amazing stay shed a tear when we were leaving as it was such a dream come true

A very big resort that caters to all

It is very family friendly and the staff for the most part were very nice. There is something for everyone at this hotel.

I was given some incorrect information at check in regarding the meal plans for children under 2 years old which meant I had to pay more at check out. The beach staff that I encountered were not very friendly and it felt like I was being a nuisance by simply going to the beach (I.e not giving towels, telling me to come earlier by saying the beach would close soon when all I wanted was a quick swim (although the service was open for at least 30 minutes more!))

Great for aquaventure, hotel feels like a kids playground

The architectural theme, aquaventure, the aquarium, hotel facilities.

Disappointed with the room allocation, as it was not at all was shown on my booking pictures. Our room was very dark, the bathroom was fully enclosed — unlike the open-style bathroom shown in the pictures, which allowed natural light in. The images on Booking showed a completely different room from the one we received In the room: one of the bathrobes was dirty, the shampoo bottle was empty, and the fridge door was locked. Wouldn’t expect to write this for a five-star hotel.

The property is well located on the palm. If your purpose is aquapark- it’s great.

We had the club room, despite that, the service at breakfast was quite poor. Had to wait for coffee for 15+ min, after many reminders it finally arrived. Part of the staff is poorly trained, others seem to do you a favour serving you. The club beach has no difference from the other beach. All in all hotel is well maintained but still quite old.

Five star stay at Atlantis

Staff were first class. Service excellent. Food great. Shopping and restaurants really good. Beds a little firm West tower with balcony and sea & pool view was amazing on a high floor with beautiful bathroom inc bath and separate shower. The smell all around the hotel and corridors was amazing. So clean and fresh. Plenty of room at the pools and beach. Always a table at the cafe with view of the aquarium. Water park was also good to go back and forth and often as you wanted and transport available along the front of the hotel. Wristbands supplied to charge everything to your room. No need to carry anything. Walk back through the main shop to the hotel for souvenirs. Arrive early for a lounger. AED250 for fast track pass for water rides Thank you to Tiffany & Co helping with our gifts :)

Superb in every way.

Immaculately clean and comfortable. Staff were excellent everywhere. Food was fabulous. Loved it! First time I have stayed in the hotel and even though it was only 2 nights it felt like a proper holiday because we were so well looked after.

Getting on / off The Palm isn’t always the best due to traffic and is what stops us from going to Atlantis even just for a meal (we live in Dubai).

Amazing restaurants, from Breakfast, to snacks at the pool until dinner. Great staff in every position.

I made the reservation in January for October, from the beginning I asked for early check-in because the plane arrived at 07:30 in the morning, about 10 days before I received an email with updates for the hotel including early check-in and I was asked for a small amount, I chose this option, and a day before I received an email that I was denied the option to choose early check-in. I arrived there with my family including 2 children, one of them was feeling very sick and vomiting, and one of them was under 2 years old. After going to the reception 3 times, I only received the room at around 12:30. This seemed like a gesture of poor organization to me.

Love this hotel. Such a family friendly place. Exceptional service. Great food options. And of course an exceptional water park.

We weren’t told at the time of booking that the aquarium was closed. Our daughter had been looking forward to this. We weren’t offered any other options and check in. If a major attraction is going to be out of service for a few weeks it need to be mentioned on Booking.com

Comfortable stay but was mis-sold the breakfast option

Room were beautiful and aquaventure experience was great.

The receptionist/welcome staff incorrectly sold us the breakfast option. The price she quoted was per day however she sold it to us saying that it was for 2 days that we were staying there. I even clarified if the price was for 2 days, and she said yes. Upon checkout and checking the invoice, we discovered that the price was per day. So please beware as sometimes wrong use of language( in this case english) could mislead customers. Manager assured me that they would investigate the case, however I have not heard back from them.

Great food at Saffron. Beautiful hotel interior. Nice swimming pool and free entry to Aquapark.

Swimming pool closes to early in the evening. They should have some complimentary drinks and snacks in the room. Rooms are nice but slightly overpriced. The hotel is far from other entertainments, not much to do around the area, so two nights of staying on that hotel were enough, otherwise it would get boring.
