I recently stayed at this 5-star hotel and overall had a pleasant experience, but there are a few areas that could be improved. Staff: The service was generally smooth and the team was quick to react to requests. However, the hotel felt very short-staffed during the weekend. It was extremely crowded and there was no one attending to us at breakfast—we waited about 15 minutes just to order a coffee. Room: The room was clean and tidy, which I appreciated. However, the shower head was installed very high, around 190cm, and couldn’t be adjusted, which made showering a bit inconvenient for someone not tall like me. Also, the housekeeping team seemed a bit too meticulous—I had intentionally placed an extra pillow aside for the night, but it was removed during the evening service. Concierge / Facilities: We were disappointed that the concierge wasn’t able to assist with access to the Aurora Pool. Even though we mentioned we were in-house guests, there seemed to be no special admission or support to help us enter.

The Hotel is an excellent choice as there is a mall connected to it incase you need anything. A superb breakfast and very luxurious room

I enjoyed my stay at the St. Regis Dubai, The Palm. Great service, but the noise of the construction at the time I stayed there was very upsetting….. cant sleep well and disturb my vacation.

The pool is quite average, nothing really stands out. Breakfast is decent, but the overall feel of the restaurant doesn’t quite match what you’d expect from a luxury hotel. Even simple touches like placemats on the tables would make a difference. The spa was a letdown. You only get small sauna, not even sufficient to lie down and steam room. No jacuzzi, no plunge pools, no cold room, no relaxing area to lie down, very basic overall. Beach access is basically nonexistent. The only way in is through a beach club where the music is blasting, so it’s definitely not the place if you’re looking for a calm, relaxing beach day. On the plus side, the location is great, with easy access to the mall and West Beach, which is definitely a convenience.
