Great stay in Lapad

Good location, lovely views from the balcony, spacious and clean room. Warm and welcoming hosts.

It was a pleasant stay to enjoy the Durovnik region.

Because we were traveling around Croatia, we didn't know when we would arrive, and they were very flexible. We received a warm welcome, key handover, and explanations about the keys, the room, and the surrounding area. Parking on the street was fine, and the room has a nice balcony with a beautiful view of the bay. For our visit to Dubrovnik city, we used an Uber because it's faster and more convenient for parking. A walking path runs along the bay, with all sorts of restaurants and cafes accessible via a staircase with quite a few steps. You can also take the less steep road to the beach. Checkout went smoothly by simply dropping the key in the mailbox.

I think the location is less convenient for people with limited mobility. The beach seems very close, but the quickest route to the bay involves a staircase of about 200 steps, which we found perfectly manageable. You can also take the road.

The views of lapad bay from apartment balcony were lovely. Apartment was fully self contained

The constant noise of others in complex moving things around above us and you can hear toilets flushing and showers from other apartments. Also bathroom had a funky smell

The room with a view., was spacious and clean. The bed was large and very comfortable.

It has a lot of facilities except an iron. As we were there for a wedding an iron would have been appreciated. Although I'm sure if we had asked the host, we could have been provided one to borrow.

Lovely little apartment

Great view from the balcony and the bed was super comfortable.

It could do with either a full-length mirror or even a decent sized one somewhere in the apartment. There was one above the sink in the bathroom but could only use it for brushing hair / removing makeup etc.

Perfect quiet location for families, couples of friends who want to explore Lapad

The hosts were very polite and accommodating. Communication was very easy through messaging in Booking.com. We hired two apartments and the one we had on the first floor was the best of the two as we had a balcony that looked over the bay and we had a separate lounge/bedroom. Our teenage boys shared an apartment next to the pool which was perfect for their needs. All rooms had aircon and a safe. Although small the pool serves its purpose very well and cools you down at the end of hot day. The pool, pool area, outside seating and all the off the outside grounds are kept very well. The location is perfect for walking 10mins down the road to the shops and restaurants or you can walk the 180 steps down to the beach and beach path. coming back at night walked along the main street of restaurants and then along the road up the gradual hill. Bus route into Dubrovnik is a 10min walk down the road and the No6 bus runs until almost midnight. This was the perfect stay and we would certainly stay here again 10/10

Lovely apartment, great choice for Lapad but management need to be more aware of their interactions with guests!

The location was great, short walk into Lapad. This walk involves many steps so anyone older or with mobility issues would need a taxi! The pool was lovely and the view from the room was breathtaking! Large living area and balcony. Kitchen area is very well equipped with everything you could need.

The management of the villa were not the best. On the first night of the stay I received a message requesting payment for the stay.. €50 more than the price of the stay when I had already paid in full! This confusion did taint the experience as it was stressful. The lady who took care of the apartment was lovely at the beginning of the stay but was not very friendly at the end, merely wanted us gone!

The location was great. Amazing view, close to beach and some food. A lot of stairs very high up the mountain.

Regarding the room it was fairly spacious. Not a lot of counter space and the towels were horrible. Plus the building had construction so it was very loud at 5am. You could hear everything in rooms next door. I wish I had spent an extra 50 for decent service and less stairs. First and strongest point the staff was extremely rude. Because this was my first time traveling to this country I didn’t know our check in time. And I wasn’t able to respond until my layover flight had landed. I let them know 5-6 hours before we arrived (which was past check in period) and the lady who gave us the key was pissed. She scolded me for not responding to the text and wouldn’t listen to a word I was saying and kept trying to guilt trip me. I booked 3 other places similar and none of them have msgd me pestering me for a check in time. Every time she talked to us it was with a horrible attitude and dirty looks. She also tried to guilt trip us saying she couldn’t go home until we got there, which is not my fault her boss wouldn’t let her.

Incredible location, great value for money and would definitely stay again if visiting Dubrovnik

Brilliant stay at Villa Katrina! The location is fantastic and the views are incredible. Around a 50 minute stroll to the Old Town (about €6-7 in an uber) and about €28 in an uber from the airport. Apartment itself was great, all the amenities you would need and a supermarket a 5 minute walk away for any essentials. Bed was comfy, my only marginal complaint was that the shower cubicle is really small, but again that’s just a personal gripe. Would hands down recommend to anyone to stay there, purely for the views across Lapad Beach. Thank you!

C;lean and bright, 15 mins walk to beach and restaurants.

Easy arrivals process and the property arranged the airport pickup. Very clean and bright apartment with a well equipped kitchen. The view from the balcony over Lapad was very pretty. As a late checkout was not possible, the property looked after our luggage until we left for the airport at 2pm.

2 negatives that detracted a little. Firstly we arrived on Saturday and the pool was empty. It was not useabe after cleaning and filling, until Wednesday. Building work in the adjacent building started before 0730, hammer drilling isn't the nicest alarm clock.

Apartment with amazing views,close to restaurants,shops and beach with short bus ride to old town

The apartment had amazing views over Lapad beach, which is one of the main reasons we chose it when looking at places to stay in Dubrovnik, close to the old town, but did not want to pay the level of expense of hotels in the surrounding area. The apartment was really clean, had the basics needed for the kitchen to cover breakfast or cooking pasta, the shower was powerful (a big plus), the bed was nice and comfy, with TV and Wifi . In terms of wider contact, the Host was always quick to respond in terms of messages and sent us a link about the Villa and the area before our arrival. We had messaged the Host about the check-in time due to our flight being later than planned in the evening, but the Host was able to accommodate us by having a person meet/greet us there to hand over the keys. (We provided a small tip as a thank you). Location-wise wise the apartment to get to the promenade was a short walk (down via 188 steps - given the location to be expected) or you could take a short, much flatter walk taking a slightly longer 5/walk to the end of the road and back round. The promenade takes you all around Lapad beach, and there are lots of restaurants and shops for a range of tastes, with plenty of places to sit as well and watch the world go by. The beach is cobbled, but plenty of space to sit out and go for a swim to cool down. The bus stop to the Old Town is 250m from the apartment at the end of the road, you can get tickets from the kiosk or purchase a Dubronvik pass online before you come (it only activates when you first use it). The number 6 runs every 15 minutes from 6 am to midnight so it was never long to wait. The ride was a short 10 minutes ride, it would be walkable in about 45-60 minutes for those wanting to stretch their legs.

Locotion was very good. The apartment was spacious and very clean. The room on the photo and conformation booking was not the same.

When we checked in we were given a room with no windows and the door opens on to the swimming pool with no privacy. Not as in our conformation letter. We had to pay extra to get a room with sea views. The cleaning lady that dealt with us was rude and obviously not trained to deal with guest. The owner Peter were accommodating when I whatsup him.

The apartment was perfectly spotless and very comfortable. The view was absolutely beautiful. The facilities were basic but perfectly acceptable for short stay. The property is close to the bus route to the old town and Gcruz port which was about 5 and 10 minutes journey time. Lots of restaurants and bars in walking distance.

Be prepared for lots of ascending walks and hundreds of steps when returning to your accommodation. This is the price you pay for the gorgeous views at the property.

An excellent apartment in a really great location.

This was a great location just a short walk from the Lapad district with all the bars & restaurants. The apartment itself was very clean and spacious. Our check-in process was really easy and we were kindly let into our room before the agreed check-in time as our room was ready. There is a supermarket a few mins walk away and the bus into the old town is very close and frequent. The views from the balcony are really nice and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this property to anyone. It truly is fantastic.
