Lovely family location, good place to walk from, splendid views and super comfortable

View is excellent, the living room and conditions were clean, tidy and comfortable. Our host was so attentive and helpful.

Kitchen utensils were missing a few essentials like a spatula which I told our host and she promptly got one. One of the keys was INSIDE when we arrived and we had to get another one to get to it, could have been easier.

Wow!

Wonderful view! Watching the sunset. The weather was great most of the time but seeing lightning over the sea from the terrace was a special experience. This is a super stylish, clean, comfortable and spacious apartment with a warm welcome from the host and three bedrooms. It suited our family group (two active 60s, two in their 20s) perfectly - teenagers would love it too or two couples. A large terrace with amazing views. We ate in a lot because it was such a nice place to be. This is a great location very close to Lapad's Sunset beach, main streets and promenade - a lovely coastal stroll with lots of different places to swim from (sea was a good temperature), restaurants and excellent ice cream. Although some places were closed as it was October, Lapad was lively enough with a large supermarket and plenty of food choices. We walked to the beautiful old town (50 mins to the Pile gate) and the harbour at Gruz (30 mins) (where most of the boat trips leave from and where the Red Museum is) but there are buses nearby or taxis easily arranged. We also enjoyed visiting Lokrum which is an easy boat ride from the old town's port and can be booked on the day (return fare and island entry was 27 euros). A great holiday.

There was nothing we disliked but there are some things that may be helpful to future guests. The guest in the single room has to use one of the bathrooms which are ensuite to the doubles (although there is scope for a door to give privacy to the nearest double). The single and one double are in one wing of the apartment with the other double in the other wing - so ideal for multi-generational family or two couples. We cooked a lot because it was a lovely apartment to be in and the terrace is an amazing setting. We mostly used the induction hob which was fine but putting the kettle on at the same time as three rings tripped the fuse. So if the hob suddenly goes off (no lights at all on it), check in the fuse box next to the front door for a switch gone down on the bottom row and don't (over)do it again ;) There could be some wooden spoons/non-metal spatulas, a wider range of pans/cookware eg medium sized saucepan and frying pan and ovenproof dishes but we managed decent meals and enjoyed using the grill. The kitchen and apartment are well equipped overall. It was an easy place to be.
