Great but could have improved

The location was great.

The bathroom sink was clogged and the walls in the room are paper thin. We could always hear the neighbours and they could always hear us. There was no extra toilet paper so when it was done we had to buy from the supermarket under us. Besides that, everything else was nice!

THIS PROPERTY IS NOT TO STANDARD HEALTH PRACTICES. Stay away

On the surface this studio looks great…SAD ABOUT THE CLEANLINESS BUT: If the landlord took notice of the reviews regarding cleanliness this is what I’d good … 1. Close to no.4 bus Lapad to Old Town 2. Good eating areas in Lapad 3. Close to beach 4. Great balcony area

Where do we start: Bathroom disgusting •Body fat, mould, black mould in shower and on inner and outer rims. Not clean at all •Water leaks from shower over rim onto tiles seeping in under grout of tiles on bathroom floor •Bathroom sink is BLOCKED as it tries to drain black mould comes up out of the hole - seriously this is just not adequate. Dishwasher • was left with POT full of dried fat • dishwasher was putrid as if never cleaned also Fridge •Freezer full of ice due to no door • Fridge too is GROSS Cooking Exhaust Fan • Covered in fat with DEAD bugs all over it • How this property gets away with this is just mind blowing Towels •Towels oh my lord - for a 4 star rating how on earth could you provide this rubbish • these towels are ANCIENT ( like Old Town) rick hard and peel your skin off as you attempt to dry yourself. Mind you they were generally used in the bathroom floor to ensure the water didn’t drain into the kitchen open area. No Blind on back door •Block outs on the veluxe skylights and yet a frosted door to outside without a roller blind… This means that apartment gets full sun throughout day and doesn’t block out the night lighting Noise •Can hear every foot step from the next apartment Can hear every cry from atleast 2 kids on the same floor Every toilet flush every hairdryer every knock on a wall every scrape of a chair along the tiled floor from next door can be heard. Carpark Underground carpark? No public lot on mud that you need insurance to ensure your hire car survives the night Communication 4 emails through 3rd party but supposedly outsourced to India requesting entry time .. responded each time .. get another email stating I must respond via this link… click link .. states ‘oops page not found’ Respond to booking.com - 2 days later get a further message try this link which works.. arrive and use instructions to park.. host then texts saying that that information is incorrect….

Great location but unfortunately apartment was disappointing and dirty

Have previously stayed in various apartments in this complex Location is great right on Sunset beach. Cosy apartment, comfortable bed with an outdoor balcony. Being a top floor apartment there is a lift to level four and then stairs.

Unfortunately the apartment No 2 that we stayed in needs some serious cleaning and attention. Looks like it has not been properly cleaned in years. We had difficulty opening doors with keys, bathroom sliding door gets stuck. We mainly booked this apartment for the washing machine which was all rusted, they had a towel on top to cover the rust. Machine worked but I wasn’t putting my clothes in that. Mould in shower and bathroom floors., dishwasher was smelly and disgusting. Kitchen chairs all wobbly. We are heavy frequent yearly travellers this was one of the most unkept apartments we have ever stayed in. Once they address ALL of the issues listed above the Apartment would be great.

This property was a disaster. The unit was not cleaned, stocked or in good repair. The property manager was supposed to send someone to clean the unit and repair the clogged bathroom sink and this never happened. The cookware needed to be washed before use. The shower was disgustingly dirty with mold. The washing machine was rusted and held together with duct tape. The kitchen knives are so broken and chipped that they’re absolute garbage. The kettle is coated so badly with calcium build up I didn’t use it. Location is an hour walk from Old Town. I asked to be switched to a different unit and was told there weren’t any available. Then they lied and said I chose to stay in an unfit unit. Customer service was useless. DO NOT BOOK THIS ACCOMMODATION.

It was great to have free underground parking and the bus stop right out the door for an easy 10 minute ride to the old town. It's also steps from the beach, which would've been even better if I was here in the summer. Very comfortable bed.

The cleaning of inside the microwave and cupboard could have been better since there were coffee grains and food crumbs left.

90 minutes to check in with no check in instructions

We first arrived at the stay just after 5pm, ready to bring our things inside and get something to eat from the supermarket, we first drove around for about 15 minutes looking for a park since we had no idea where our reserved park was (we ended up parking in the cinema car park which cost us €2). At this point we contact the stay via this app and they send some check in instructions which pretty much just show where the building is on a map (not where the entrance to said building is) as well as an arrow telling us to park in the wrong place (a different place to where we actually ended up being shown to park in the end). We then have to wait until around 6:40pm for someone to actually meet us on the property (as stated in the check in instructions) at which point we finally are able to enter our room. The kitchen: the oven and stove work fine, but good luck using the oven with no oven tray, and good luck finding a pot to use on the stove that isn’t completely dirty and needs washing. And thankfully they do provide dish liquid for washing the pot, but that ends there, no brush or sponge or anything else. Even once you have cleaned your pot or opted for the singular pan, you may struggle to cook anything at all as the only cooking utensil is 1 ladle. After you have struggled to cook your meal you will be happy to have used all of the available 3 spoons, forks or knives and will then have to wash them. Also the freezer in the fridge MAY possibly need de-icing however I am not an expert so I could be mistaken! You may also have picked this place due to its possession of a washing machine, make sure to bring washing powder! Also, the shower leaks! Also, they provided no toilet paper upon our arrival so we had to go purchase our own (to be fair by the time we came back some had been graciously delivered to our door but the damage was already done) Wouldn’t recommend 👍

Attention!

Apartment in terrible condition. Inside the shower water doesn’t drain and floods the entire bathroom. Have to use towels and clothes to prevent the water flooding into the rest of the apartment. Tv is broken, fridge door comes off it’s hinges . The entire apartment is dusty and dirty . There’s no rubbish bin.. Worts thing of all is that all the comments from before say the same thing and the landlord literally doesn’t care and won’t fix anything.

Great location but bring SCUBA gear for the bathroom.

The location is amazing, with a great little balcony and right in the middle of everything in the newer side of Dubrovnik, only a short walk from everywhere and only about a 10 minute taxi ride to the Old Town. Really comfortable bed.

The other reviews mentioning the shower leak are understating the severity of it. It leaks so much we had the Navy knocking on the door asking if they could conduct some training in the lake that was the bathroom floor. Really not pleasant at all and we only stayed there for a couple of nights. None of the remotes for the blinds and windows were charged so we had to do this ourselves and the batteries in the remotes for the TV / keyboard for the TV were practically dead so we kept having to do that old trick of warming them up to get some juice from them. Can’t really comment about staff as our only interaction was when we arrived.

Loved the location across from the beach and near so many gems of restaurants on the promenade and around Lapad.

Washing machine and hairdryer not working. Got a replacement hair dryer after a while but washing machine was never fixed. Offered to have our laundry taken but by that time we had only one day left.

Everything! Very kind owner Beautiful, clean, well arranged and decorated apartment Great kitchen with all devices you have at home, even coffee maker (drip-coffee machine)... (Also in cabinets: sugar, salt, oil, coffee, seasonings and some other stuff) Apartment is located in huge complex Beach is about ~50m away Cinestar cinema is on other side of building, cafes, grocery store, bakery and so on... Bus station is next to the complex (bus no. 4 goes to the old town ... Highly recommended

Perfect location!

I loved the balcony and being able to watch the sunset over the beach everyday. There is a cinema, supermarket and a few nice cafes and restaurants on the ground floor and not to mention you are right across the road from the beach and walking distance to the street of restaurants on Uvala St and the resorts and beach clubs. I would highly recommend staying here. Zara is also amazing host and made my stay most enjoyable =)

Современная постройка, 4 этаж, лифт, небольшое жилье под крышей. Въезд начали с уборки. Под кроватью просто свалка всякого мусора. Под потолком такая полка/ антресоль, там диван и второе спальное место, там просто пыль вековая. Кроме плиты, вся техника в ужасном состоянии, ржавая и непригодная для употребления. Поразили полотенца, такого грязного- серого цвета я не видела, просто брезгливое чувство. Посуда тоже грязная, к чайнику не притронуться. Очень неухоженная квартира.
