A fantastic place to stay!

We had a really lovely stay at Apartment Barbara. The apartment is spacious and well equipped, with lots of thoughtful extras. It can sleep up to six people, but there were four of us and we had plenty of room to relax. We especially liked that the pool and hot tub are in separate areas, which makes it easy to have some space to yourself when you wanted it. Barbara was very friendly and quick to respond. On checkout day they kindly let us leave our luggage so we could enjoy the day without dragging bags around, which was so helpful. Overall, a fantastic place to stay and one we’d happily recommend!

The kitchen preparation area is on the compact side. It was fine for us as we only made breakfast each day, but if you’re planning to cook more, there’s also a separate inside barbecue area you can use, which gives you much more space.

Barbara was lovely and very welcoming, thanks so much! The apartment was fantastic, 3 nice and comfy bedrooms, a good and well equipped kitchen, and nice bathrooms. All very clean too. The main highlights were the private swimming pool and hot tub, both absolutely lovely to use. There was also a sauna, but we did not use that. The location is also good, close to bus stops and several restaurants/supermarkets.

The only very minor thing to say would be the WiFi doesn't work well in the main bedroom, but not a big deal, it seemed to work fine in other areas of the apartment.

Unforgettable Stay

We really enjoyed our time in this Villa. We were a party of six and had plenty of room , it was modern and spotless and was well equipped with everything you should need. The swimming pool and hot were a great bonus to chill in the afternoon after doing a bit of touring. Barbara was an excellent host very helpful and responded very fast to any query we had. Location was good. Uber was reasonably priced and always reliable to drop us into old town every evening . The bus stop and grocery shop was only 2 mins away. I would definitely recommend this villa if travelling to Dubrovnik.

Wasn’t an issue for us but the WiFi was a little hit and miss as some evenings we hadn’t it

Great villa in a great location, clean and spacious with a nice pool.

Barbara the host was lovely and showed us all of the places to go! Apartment was clean and spacious, private pool was great. Barbara even helped us print off our boarding passes which was a lovely gesture. Recommend sunset beach and the surrounding bars and restaurants.

The only downfall is that the wifi wasn’t good.

Amazing apartment with everything you need

Barbara was an incredible host. Really accommodating and talked us through everything in the apartment as well the local area when we arrived. She even gave us recommendations for places to eat, drink and see. The apartment itself was great with everything we needed to entertain ourselves - pool, jacuzzi, sauna, BBQ area etc. The BBQ room was nice and cool which is great after a really hot day in Dubrovnik. Really clean apartment too. The location is great - if you are fully able you can walk down to the restaurants in 6 mins. But it is a hilly area (like most of Dubrovnik/Lapad) so for slower walkers it's more like 10 mins. There is a little supermarket and a bus stop that's takes you into Dubrovnik old town about a 3 min from the apartment too. The apartment is in a quiet area of Lapad but shops and nightlife are walkable.

No complaints about the apartment at all! But a warning there are mosquitos about and we kept getting bitten, even inside. We think they were coming into the bedrooms through the Aircon at night. So just remember to bring repellent.

Beautiful apartment with all the amenities. We loved the private hot tub after a long day of touring. Barbara was a phenomenal hostess. The apartment is in a great neighborhood with a fun pedestrian street full of restaurants. The bus stop is 2 mins from the apartment and a quick ride to the Old City.

We were a family of 4 with 2 teenage boys visiting in peak season (August). We stayed for 6 days and had a wonderful holiday. The location was great. This was our 1st holiday without a car we used uber to travel to old town around £7. We walked to the beach and walked to the local restaurants most evenings. We used all the facilities, hot tub. Pool, sauna, dishwasher and washing machine. Villa had air conditioning which was needed after being out all day. Barbara and her family value their guests, they go out of their way to ensure us the customer have a memorable holiday. Beach towels were provided and all cleaning products. Great communication from Barbara. A transfer was organised for us on arrival in Dubrovnik. If we required a takeaway the host would order it for us. Barbara even helped us with excusions for our boys. I don't normally write reviews but the level of service shown to us was exceptional. Thank you Barbara and family, we will be back.

This is a superb apartment, it had everything we needed as a family of 5. There is a great bus service to the ‘Old Town’ area. The pool is a real bonus. We also visited the beach regularly. Loads to do and see in Dubrovnik. Barbara was the perfect host.

Super!

We had a great time in this apartment, we stayed here with 6 girls for a girls trip. Barbara, the lady of the house was very nice and offered us a welcome shot for our arrival. She also checked in with us later in our stay if everything was okay and if we were happy with the apartment. We made use of the facilities, which were super! Especially the hot tub and the pool were really great. Everything was clean and fresh and the airconditioning worked really good. One day we had a birthday of one of the girls and Barbara noticed and she and her mother gave a personal cute birthday present! So lovely. We would definitely recommend staying here!

The only complain was the matrass of the white smaller bed, 2 girls had quite some backpain because it is so hard.

Luxury hotel amenities that feels like home away from home

The experience from start to finish was top notch. Barbara was an excellent host and the unit is very clean, well appointed and has the feel of a luxury hotel. Barbara thought of all the small details to make our stay comfortable including a little stuffed animal and other baby necessities. The location is ideal. We highly recommend staying here.

Travelling with two families it would have been nice to have more living room seating but the size of the condo has its limits and there is plenty of outdoor space.

Relaxing oasis

The quiet, comfortable and spacious apartment was great. After touring the old town, we really appreciated using the private pool. Having parking was a great luxury as well and the hospitable hostess and her mother were very helpful and kind.

The door to the apartment door was glass and not fully frosted and not that private. Having to pay for the whole stay in cash was a bit of inconvenience.

The host called us while we were still driving towards the location, and waited for us to arrive. He was very kind and helpful. Great swimming pool to cool off after visiting Dubrovnik, bus stop around the corner - only a 10min drive to the old town. Private parking space, shop and a bakery close by. A/C was excellent.

Tilava ja erittäin viihtyisä paikka. Kiva pieni allasalue sekä poreallas. Bussilla pääsee kätevästi vanhaan kaupunkiin ja Uberilla sinne noin 10€ luokkaa. Barbara oli ystävällinen ja avulias.
