Comfortable, close to Maastricht, 7 ks, cheap price, was great for cyclists & older couples.

Very clean, nothing inside, basic, new shower bathroom, no air-conditioning - not needed. Bed excellent, in very large room. Breakfast typical for Belgium, lots of meat, cheese, hot food, nothing outstanding but good and lots. Indoor small heated pool and gym.

Nothing really, just the older style of the whole place. Lack of things in room, not even drinking things, except for 2 water bottles and paper cups. I suppose anything was available in dining bar area.

Wonderful and productive business trip to Maastricht, staying in Lanaken.

I had a wonderful and productive stay at the 'doorstep' to National Park - Pietersheim and close to Maastricht (where I had my meetings), very friendly reception and staff, helpful and giving useful information on the area. Bis bald!

Only the weather could have been better ;-)

Exceptional

Room furnished in an typical 70's cosy style. I like odour in the hallways.

They charge for a pet 25 Euros which is as per my opinion quite a high price. We were staying at the receptionist for a while. We rang the bell, but nobody attended us. There was a notice on the table though informing us to go to the lounge area and get someone's attention. I approached a waitress. She left her work and went for me to check us in. She had a quite stern facial expression without any of welcoming manners. I do not blame her. If I do work as a waiter and as a receptionist on the top of that I would be under the pressure as well.

Lovely hotel, will definitely use again

The staff were great, they were very friendly and welcoming. Our room was clean and comfortable. There were no issues with noise at night and the wifi worked well. The breakfast was very nice also, there were plenty of hot and cold foods available to choose from. There was also the option to take away some items for our lunch, which I thought was a lovely touch. Location-wise, it's only a very short drive away from Maastricht.

Pleasant

The location was good for visiting Maastricht, and Lanaken has some interesting parts.

There was very little choice of vegetarian food. The charge for parking at the hotel was exorbitant - we were amazed there was ANY charge and ended up parking elsewhere for free, though this meant a walk to the hotel. The rooms were furnished for easy of servicing and strictly functional rather than attempting to create an attractive place to stay eg no carpets, no decorations (pictures or photos). When we were there the room was very warm.

Superb

We stayed in a very nice and large family room, perfect for a family of four. The hotel has a nice indoor pool. It's close the the beautiful domain Pietersheim which is perfect for a walk with small children.

Disappointing

The bathroom was very nice. It had a good and modern shower. The bicycle storage area was ok.

We had a disappointing stay at Eurotel Lanaken. Although it was rather cool outside, the temperature inside the room was uncomfortably warm to the degree that it was very difficult to sleep. The room didn't have airco. I believe there was a construction issue with this room which made it so uncomfortably warm. On arrival we noticed that the TV set couldn't show the Belgian national channels "één" and "canvas". When i asked reception for assistance no useful help was offered. The room had an old and tired carpet which caused me some trouble to keep my asthma symptoms under control. The cappuccino at breakfast was only lukewarm. I would have liked it hot. The omelette i had was cold. I would have like that warm too.

Just liked the location other than location nothing

Hotel was mot clean, staff was ver rude and not enough. Did a reservation at their restaurant gor my guests but they had given my reserved table someone else and they even did not apologize. Staff should immediately change

We zijn supergoed ontvangen mer een hapje en een drankje en de service was ook uitstekend. Ook was de ligging super. Lanaken dorp is op wandelafstand. Ook goede bedden en alles netjes en proper. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar.
