Lakeside Idyll

Stunning location. Epic scenery. A little piece of heaven. Cardini restaurant wonderful. Mule tracks up into the mountains. Peaceful Someraro to explore. SAF bus to/from Stresa/Baveno ferry (3-4 daily). Room well equipped with microwave and fridge. Very warm welcome from our host, always helpful and easy to contact. Grazie mille!

First of all, we loved the view and the location. It was very peaceful while being accessible by car. The room had everything we needed and was comfortable. The host, Alice, was also extremely helpful. The restaurant that she booked for us served amazing food with a view.

Amazing views! Wonderful flat with a very helpful owner who gave lots of useful information and left everything we could need. The most stunning views of the lake and can walk into town in about 25 minutes.

Beautiful setting and a lovely room with a massive comfy bed.

Nothing! We walked from Stresa which was a long uphill but we had small bags and really enjoyed the walk. Downhill on the way back was even better.

The view is the seller of this property. Nice room with balcony witg everything you need. Alice was really nice and even had a list of recommended places.

The location was a bit far than what we expected and there was no public transport, but we had the best view in Stresa. One minor thing would be the bathroom amenities, you can barely wash one arm eith the little bottle of shower gel.

Excellent value and rustic charm with first class comfort.

Alice the hostess is wonderfully helpful. We were concerned about getting from the train station in Stresa up the hill to the room and she coordinated us with a taxi. As it turns out there were also many taxis at the train station so we could travel easily. We also loved the view from the room and the quiet community and nearby restaurants. The bathroom rivals that of a four star hotel.

Because we were travelling at the end of the season, some nearby restaurants were already closed.

Location was excellent and host very sympatic. View was wonderful and accommodation also. Enjoyed coffee machine and garden.

There was no airconditioner. Parking was little bit difficult, but after explanation where to park our car better. Maybe better to mention clearly on Booking.com website where exactly you can park your car.

Stairs to access the appartement and not easy to park. The appartement has no A/C but there is no ventilation (VMC) so it is warm in summer and potentially mosquito outside if you open windows .

Lovely place to spend a relaxing holiday

The room was really nice and comfortable The bathroom spacious and the shower amazing! We missed the check in but the self check in procedure was easy and smooth. Alice super nice and helpful. The view from the balcony is simply breathtaking, we had dinner on the balcony as it was fully furnished. Amazing!

Beautiful place near Stresa

Amazing view over Stresa and the Lac Maggiore. There is a nice little garden in front of the apartment which is fantastic for kids to play. In bonus there is a small playground nearby. The room is very spacious and beautiful, and modern.

Quite hard to reach with small roads nearby, parking is not right in front but further below. In summer it gets quite stuffy without aircon or fan.

The room was big and cozy, the bed was super comfortable, the host was attentive and welcoming, and the view is beautiful!

The internet connection could be better, it's installed with a wireless repeater that drastically reduces speed and damages the functionality.
