Decent, could be great in the future.

The staff were the best element -- very pleasant and helpful! Great location and lovely view. Big room for the money. Quiet.

I found the room very hot and couldn't cool it down with the air conditioning. Also the cooking smells from the room below made the room smell.

Perfect location, lovely staff and great proce

The location is fantastic and the staff are all so lovely, friendly. I got a very warm welcome when I arrived and even though I was much earlier than check in they had my room ready. The room was huge, I had loads of space, it was clean, great facilities and quiet despite being on the main road into Baverno.

Not that much, the hotel is a little dated but I think the decor suited the style and the town.

Nice apartments at a good location

The apartment was nice, well equipped and clean. The location is good - a short walk from the center (10 mins) and from the beach (5mins). There is also a supermarket near by.

You have to pay for the parking,unless you are lucky and find free parking on the street. There was an extra 5% service charge included in the bill, even though there was really no service to speak of - the apartment is not cleaned during the stay, and you have to take out your waste to the recycling containers by yourself - the staff are nice but they only say hello and take you to your room, what service?

Beautiful historic residence with a lovely staff. Nice and spacious apartment with good beds, well equipped kitchen, large bathroom and nice balcony. Located within few minutes walk from a all beach of Lago Maggiore and a supermarked also just a few minutes walk away. - everything we needed for three nights by the lake!

Playroom at -1 could be nicer and more comfortable for kids, but was ok for at couple table soccer matches :)

The facilities overall. It's not the first time we staied at Carl & Do and we like it!

We were 3 couples and we had to move some matrasses to sleep together as a couple. Good thing is that when we told it to the staff, they replied: whatever you need to do to make yourself comfortable In the beginning when there was an agreement whth the adventure park for the swimming pool, it was great. Bit now you need swimming caps and there where large groups of children in the pool every day. Much prefere to have the choice to go to the pool at Grand hotel Dino like before the adventure park was build

Good apart hotel with magnificent view over the Lago Maggiore and Borromean Islands

Location and view on the 5th floor was more than excellent!! Parking garage under hotel was convenient. Apartment was spacious, like a small home! Friendly staff at arrival.

Too many paintings/pictures on the wall of bad taste. We neither liked the old-fashioned furniture. A bit more modern look would do a lot! Swimming pool is not next to the hotel, but you need to take the car. Pool itself is OK though.

Room (Three-Bedroom Apartment with Lake View) was spacious, clean and comfortable. Location was good, with a supermarket and some restaurants nearby. Staff was friendly. There is a deal with a nearby pool, which we didn't use.

Baveno is such a lovely small town. This appartment is a cost-effective way to enjoy it.

It was really good value for money. An apartment for 2 (plus a sofa bed that we didn't need) with a kitchen. We barely used the kitchen. The low cost meant we felt free to spend extra on meals out, and there's some special restaurants within 10 minutes walk.

the road it's on is rather busy and noisy, but the double glazing worked really well so with windows closed we couldn't hear it.

A super appartement to explore Lago Maggiore

A great and spacious appartment. With separate kitchen, livingroom, bedroom and bathroom. Balcony on front is noisy because of the street, in the back it is quit. If you like the classic style, it is wonderfull. From the entrance to your room. Parking at the Parking on the street, or behind a gate at the hotel (against payment). It is close to the small city centre, enough places to have a drink or to eat. Or you Just Cook in your own appartment. A good place to explore the lake!

Above expectations with a few strange details

We were lucky with the parking (off-season, weekday), found free public spot, didn't have to pay the property's crazy rate. Cleaniness. Good value for money (size of apartment). Playroom in the basement.

We booked a non-cancellable rate, but due to weather we wanted to arrive a day earlier. Same room was available on booking.com for the same rate which we requested. The property didn't even bother to answer our request. We have been charged for the use of a cot. We understood the apartment concept by all means, but the policy of taking all your garbage at the end of your stay to a public collection point is - at least - unusual. No sponge nor liquid for doing the dishes. The playroom was not the cleanest ever, there were no balls for the table-tennis and the shelves are not attached to the wall in the kids' area. No option to have breakfast. Heating didn't keep the temperature. It was too warm at the evenings and too cold at the mornings.

Nice view to the lake, size of the apartment quite comfortable for 4 people. Two full bathrooms is a nice bonus. Garage parking available for additional reasonable price

Poorly equipped kitchen, metallic pans you cannot really cook anything, everything sticks and burns no matter how much oil you use. Basic stuff missing in the kitchen - no sponge, or any dishwasher liquid. Even if apartment has two bathrooms, none has normal shower, just bathtubs - very uncomfortable. Strange furniture. It is weird that you have to check and sign paper that all equipment is in order. I think it is hotel responsibility to make sure room is in order.
