Location good. Room size okay with functional kitchen. Next to a public parking.
Not clean enough. Too much train noise. No one smiling including the customers! Breakfast at the lower end of continental breakfast.

It’s not that far from alot of other places and I believe I’ve stayed here before.
The room we had, had a lot of issues. One of the lamps had a broken plug in, with only one of the two prongs so it didn’t work. The shower was leaking so every 10 seconds you’d hear a drip hit the floor. The pillar in the room had a ton of scratches on it from the table nearby. And when we turned on the heat it smelled really bad and the air felt thick. And the trash cans in the room didn’t have bags in them

Close to aquarium
Elevators didn’t work- super long wait times. No towels at the pool

The location is convenient. That is it.
The room was not stocked with basic items and had a clogged toilet upon check in. Front desk staff were ignoring our request for anything that we needed. Bad customer service. Facilities were not clean. Management kept us on hold for over 30 minutes and never returned our call. Paid for a king corner room and received a queen. No room service at all during our 3 day stay.

The room and view were good.
Only one elevator was working for half of my trip so the wait and elevator rides were unpleasantly long. I booked specifically for the hot tub, but that was always heavily occupied, usually by children. The original room I chose wasn't available even though we checked in a little later so we were put in a different one.

I did like that we were close to the museums.
I didn't like that I had to call hotel staff several times about a clogged toilet before getting assisted. Once I spoke to the right person (on accident in an elevator), the problem was fixed.

The dishwasher, dishes, silverware, cutlery, appliances in kitchenette, paper towels, toiletries, sofa bed and bed.
There was no remote control in the room until I called front desk staff and the remote was received after midnight and of the second day stay in the morning before 8:00 a.m., the fan was directly above the bed that caused me to feel HARMED and No radio and No alarm clock. I felt like I was being jailed, punished, yet robbed and held hostage in #1201 hotel suite on the high floor away from the other population. I was to use more than one elevator for the other benefits of my hotel suite rental services and some amenities were missed or unused due to lack of sleep waiting for the remote for the TV that should have been in the suite. Also, the lights were turned off at 9:00 a.m. in the shower and bathroom areas and I was alarmed about it but nobody called me to inform me of any trouble. The heating system turned to air blown cool air for the two nights and I got slightly sick and ate soup for to stay well and feel better. Also the bed was hurting me due to previous injuries from a cab accident and overworking my back to move and lift heavier things and pulling stuff I carried.

Close to my destination.
There were alot of things broken in the room the such as the ceiling fan, and the iron board. The linen sheets were dingy not super white and crisp.

The suite was beautiful, comfortable, and fairly reasonable in price considering its location. We loved the layout and overall design. Our room was fairly quiet even with the L train close by. Breakfast was good, and it was great having a full kitchenette. We’d definitely stay here again!
Nothing!

Most amazing location. Lovely corner room, spacious. Had everything we needed. 15 min walk to the Shedd Aquarium. Homewood Suites will be our go to Chicago Hotel. Breakfast at the hotel was nice, and there is also a fantastic (expensive) diner across the street. Hotel Asian restaurant was also great.
The air conditioning unit in the room was as loud as the train going by. It literally roared. The first room we were put in, the entire panel of the air conditioner was off. (They immediately changed our room). But, if you are sound sensitive, this might not be the place for you. Perhaps it was because we had a corner room. We slept right thru it, but needs to be mentioned.

The location was perfect. We skipped the breakfast offered and decided to eat out. The valets were amazing. They were patient with me when they were super busy. And the lady at the check in desk was very nice. I would definitely stay there again. The room was spacious with an amazing view.
The only thing I had a slight issue with was the bed sheet was stained and the room could use a good dusting. My kids and I slept on top of the blanket because of the dirty sheet. I didn't say anything mostly cause I didn't want to make the hotel staff angry and we only stayed one night. I've never traveled that far before so I didn't know what to expect with the people.

Location and the view of Lake Michigan
Front desk could have been more helpful and they should clean the washers out because they were filthy. Would be nice to have more ways to buy water or something to drink .

Great location. Within walking distance of everything. Friendly and helpful staff. Will definitely be back.
Unfortunately, when it rains, the TV goes off. Not nice... Pouring outside, nothing to do in the room, not even TV.

The property is close to a lot of things. The location is great!
The beds were uncomfortable, the breakfast was bland and repetitive and our room only was cleaned once despite us being there for 7 days. It was overpriced for what we experienced. We chose Homewoods because we have stayed at other locations in the country and always had a good experience. This one was the worst.

Great location if you want to got to the museums.
The room was dirty and no one came to clean it despite us being there for 4 days. Breakfast was bland and repetitive and the beds were like cardboard.

Parking was high breakfast was ok

Fantastic views and kitchen facilities in the suites
All the PLASTIC plates/bowls/cups etc at breakfast was maddening! So terrible environmentally unfriendly! How is the Hilton allowed to be operating like this in Chicago? There must be rules against single use plastic? Or if not, Hilton needs to do better! Each room has china (non plastic) dish ware, and dishwashers. Why can’t the breakfast room do similarly? I stayed in this same hotel 3 years ago and made the same complaint. But I assume Hilton’s environmental policy (and Chicago’s) would have changed since then. Apparently not.

The room was a bit shabby

The location was great, breakfast was good.
I was not made aware that parking was going to cost $70 a night. The pool experience was not great, there were lots of kids unattended. We witnessed them steal things from other guests and one of them jumped on my grandson and clawed all over him.

Thought parking was included but it was not included in our stay.

Pool, location, amazing views from our room, staff very helpful & friendly it made our stay very enjoyable
We got up early on our stay, would love if the pool had opened earlier, but we still got to use it, just a suggestion

Beautifully positioned. Loved the studio room : the size, the kitchen, the view
A tiny gripe: the bed was made with odd linen: the sheet didn’t fit properly and the duvet seemed more like a mattress protector. Still all worked fine. The breakfast was a bunfight (I only went once in the end)
