Amazing room, friendly staff and good food

This was my first time visiting the US for the Chicago Marathon. The hotel’s location is very strategic — it’s close to McCormick Place, where the race pack collection took place, and only about a 15-minute walk from the hotel. I even went there several times for some shopping at the expo. The hotel is also conveniently located near a train station, making it easy to reach various places around the city. The hotel facilities and services were excellent. The room was very spacious, and it comfortably accommodated three of us thanks to the extra bed under the sofa. Breakfast was satisfying and well-balanced, offering a good selection of protein, fiber, and coffee. The service was great as well — the staff kindly provided additional access for the third guest staying in our room. Our room faced the back side of the building and while we could hear some train noise at night, it wasn’t too disturbing. The view of city in the morning is quite good. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay, and if I come back for the Chicago Marathon, I would definitely consider staying here again.

My first impression was that this was a joke. But the hotel is nice if you can get past the location

The hotel itself was a very nice clean facility. The lighting was really nice. The breakfast was good....lots of choices. The facility is new or appears to be new. The sofa with trundle in the room was spacious. The bathroom was quite nice also.

The parking was terrible, $30 nightly. It is not for SUVs, only compact cars. The outside looks suspect, or shady. We had wanted 2 queens and sofa bed x3 but got 3 king rooms. That was a challenge trying to change it. Bait and switch. I suggest going through the hotel instead of booking.com. When we arrived, all we could smell was fish/ well it is Chinatown.

It’s in a great spot. Plenty of good restaurants around and only a short walk to Wintrust Arena. My friends and I agreed that anytime we plan to visit the area, we’ll stay here. Bre at the front desk was great! She greeted us like friends and was very helpful!

Get a odd number room

The even number rooms are facing a busy freeway and train track. Very noisy all night long. Otherwise, the hotel is good in a fun Chinatown district with plenty of restaurants and shops around.

Hotel in a perfect location with big rooms!

It was within Chinatown which is a favorite spot while visiting Chicago. The room was so much bigger than I was expecting. My friend and I were really happy with the room! Will be booking again in a few weeks…have another concert to attend!

I would like to have bath tubs in the room or a pool and jacuzzi area to go to. I think the biggest part of vacationing is leisure time and it would be nice to do that on property without having to just lay in the bed.

Terrible, they will scam you!

My husband and I stayed at this hotel during our honeymoon, hoping to relax and get some rest during our long cross-country drive. Unfortunately, our experience was anything but restful. We were only there for about 6–8 hours, and even though $210 was out of our budget, we decided to treat ourselves. However, when we arrived around 2 a.m., we were charged $270 instead. I explained that I had booked in advance at a different rate, but the front desk staff said there was nothing she could do and that the manager could help me in the morning. That night, instead of relaxing, I spent time calling customer service and filing a report. They told me the property itself would need to resolve it. By then, our night was already ruined — I couldn’t sleep, and it added so much stress to what was supposed to be a special trip. In the morning, the manager told me the difference would be refunded. Days later, I checked my statement — and instead of $210, I was charged $240. It might not seem like a huge difference, but the stress, disappointment, and lack of transparency made it feel worse. No matter how nice the room was, I couldn’t enjoy it. I left feeling frustrated and completely let down. I’ll never be able to trust this property or the booking platform again. I expected better, especially on a trip that meant so much to us. Very disappointed — and I hope others don’t have to go through this

The only thing I disliked was breakfast. The bagels were extremely hard, the oatmeal was runny, and the eggs weren’t the best. However, there were other options to choose from like cereal, fresh fruit, and yogurt.

Parking is always tough in Chicago. The garage attached will still allow people in if there are no spaces left which caused cars to get stuck in the garage and have to make a nearly 30 point turn to turn around. It’s always packed before like 8 pm and not promising you’ll ever get a spot. Also the cost is $30 a day if you so get a spot, the hotel validates the ticket. I figured out if I found a spot on the street after 6 pm, it was free. I could log into the parking app before 8 am and pay for my parking without getting out of bed. We always left the hotel within 2 hours anyway and the cost is less than $6. Also, use Park Whiz to find deals on spots. I found a parking garage in downtown Chicago for $12 for 12 hours. It’s double/triple or more if you just use the drive up cost or pay for meters. (Which only allow 2 hour parking in most areas) I ended up spending wayyy less on parking the whole weekend, Park Whiz, parking.com, and epark Chicago, download the apps, make accounts beforehand, they are your friend.

Beautifully updated hotel in the heart of Chinatown perfect for travel or business.

We loved how the hotel was right in the heart of Chinatown. Even though there was a bustling city around us we never heard the traffic or commotion once we entered the building. The breakfast was delicious and some of the best we've had in a long time. We also cannot applaud the staff enough. Everyone was friendly and so helpful. Parking was also super easy and very convenient to the hotel.

One weird quirk was the fact that the bathroom didn't have any place for your foot. The bathroom itself was beautiful, but if you needed to do things like shave your legs like my wife did or something along those lines there was no place to do that.
