Beautiful hotel for a reasonable price - highly recommend

Location was amazing for our needs and the attached bar/restaurant was really nice. We stopped for drinks before dinner and had the friendliest bartender - smooth check-in, comfy bed, historic hotel. Would stay again.

The bathroom door was on a slider, didn't provide much privacy but it was OK for us. Just not loving the trend of sliding doors on bathrooms.

Solid choice in a good location near the lake.

Clean, comfortable, rooms were nice. A good stay overall.

Mattresses are starting to show their age, and the “blackout” shades let a ton of light in. Lobby and public spaces could use a refresh, not bad, but not exceptional.

Chicago is an impressive city, even with the inclement weather. I’d love to come back in the summe.

The breakfast was great, but I didn’t realize it wasn’t accessible on the weekend until our arrival. It worked out that I was able to find a Starbucks and pick up a few items.

Better information to help figure out the transit system as it’s not something I’m used to. I used the map in the lobby, walked most places and used an Uber out of necessity.

Beautiful property. Lovely rooms with marble tiled bathrooms, luxe bedding, good scents and a tasty restaurant that serves Barcelona inspired dishes.

Good job on the breakfast. Good experience going to the bar at night. We met friends at a restaurant for dinner each night, so we have nothing to comment. Your staff is second to none. Your training program is working very well. Truly one of the best we have ever encountered. It wouldn't hurt to have some of the top newspapers in the lobby.

Our only complaint is the towels. The quality may have been good to start with, but over time the use of fabric softener has turned them into scrub pads. This is a BIG issues with ladies. And just as a reminder. it's the ladies who decide on the return visit. This needs to be attended to post haste. The TV in the bathroom didn't work, but we never had a use for it. Would have been nice to tune in some music though while getting ready. No big deal! Only one robe? come on guys. My poor wife had to walk around naked. But . . . the robe was wonderful. A little extra attention is called for around the base on the shower door.

Beautifully restored gem of a hotel on Chicago’s lakefront

They were able to accommodate early check in and concierge was able to deliver a bottle of Champagne that met us in the room when we arrived. Immaculate room with great finishes and fixtures. Common areas were well maintained and tidy. Excited that this hotel was renovated and ready for a new generation of travelers! It’s a gem. Have an employee show you the ballroom if you get a chance.

Clean comfortable room, great staff!

Nice area with the park and good restaurants nearby. The staff was helpful and friendly. Especially Neene at the front desk. She was able to check me in early and knows the area well. The breakfast buffet was amazing and economical.

Decorations cool, Facilities, not so much

Service was good. Hotel was ice and room was classy cool.

No bar and restaurant was closed most of the time we were there. Not sure if we hit it on off hours, but we had to go across the street to the Hilton for drinks and food. Thank goodness we had the concourse access because we did have a decent breakfast. Can't understand why they don't have a bar off the lobby...????

Super nice hotel just pricey.

Loved that the hotel was walking distance to Solider Field. Also loved the 1920’s vibe with original decorations and stories in the lobby. Room was comfortable and very updated. Very clean.

Price. Granted it was a concert weekend but that is the most I have EVER paid for a hotel room. Certainly was my choice to book but looking back $800+ to sleep for 1 night is crazy.

Nice but won't return

The staff and the fitness facility were the highlight of the hotel. The front desk were friendly and attentive. The gym was clean and had a great selection.

I was beyond disappointed with the club level, which we paid extra. It was a handful of items and NO wine or cocktails were served and when I requested it was an additional 15 a glass. We were there for 4 days, we only requested the room to be cleaned one day while we were gone and it wasn't done. Very disappointed!

Awsome stay at the beautiful Blackstone Hotel!

The view was fantastic, and the room was elegant and clean. Will stay again definitely, the location was so close to the Suenos music festival in Grant Park.

A microwave in the room would have been awesome, and maybe if there were some outlets closer to the bed for charging phones.
