Very courteous staff, excellent old hotel with high standards, easy in and out. Nice check in by front desk via text to let us know that we had a contact in case we needed something. I've stayed there years ago and it continues to be a great hotel

Paid for 3 nights at 587 dollars, we didnt have a pet sitter so we decided to bring our pet and they charged a ADDITIONAL 100 dollar pet fee that IS NOT REFUNDABLE. MY DOG HASNT EVEN LEFT A STRAIN OF HAIR. They do not disclose parking at all. We payed a additional 300 dollars for parking. We get to our room and Its not one towel in the room, called front desk to bring some and no one ever came. We called 3 more times and still no one. I Had to go to the front desk where they had me wait 15 minutes for towels just to say they cant give it to me down here. It'll be in the room when you go up. Im currently in the room and still not a towel in sight. I've been to many hotels and this by far was the worse experience I've ever encountered. Im paying so much just visit family for Thanksgiving and this hotel has given me nothing but Debt and issues. PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL, THEY ARE STEALIMG FROM US...I WISH I COULD GVE 0 STARS

I’m a suburban who came for the lights festival on the mag mile. The hotel is actually really cool. It has an antique rich history, type of vibe. I usually book Airbnbs when traveling with my kids - due to the space. It was very nice. I love that they had large games in the lobby. My kids loved that they had large chest pool, air hockey and foosball. We couldn’t find the pool balls, but everything else was great when we walked in. I love the Christmas decor. There was a ballroom with a large Christmas tree is beautiful and breakfast was great. I can’t recall the name of the breakfast restaurant. It was like table service. This area is in the south loop and close to a lot of things a quick Uber right away. The only reason why I don’t give it five stars is because our room was switched at the last minute and the full size beds were not very big.

The hot tubs was the highlight. The staff were excellent. Very poor amenities. Where you only get $10 a day. When you pay 25. And get to roll it over into the next day. Which you should be able to.

Love the location and the grandeur of the hotel. I’ve stayed here for years both for pleasure and business. I would say that at this point the hotel is in need of updating. The service was still excellent but the room felt dated.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Chicago Hilton. Loved the ambiance and the inspiring architecture on entering and the old fashioned elevator lobby was a treat itself. The Irish Pub was outstanding with a nice atmosphere and not overly sports oriented like some. I was there during some kind of trade event but the place never felt crowded or had long waits for anything. My room on the 18th floor was a little spartan for my liking, though quite large, however for the amount spent I expected more. Had a nice view and was quiet enough so I’m not taking points away, but yes - a room update is past due if other rooms were like mine.

Very convenient hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We stayed for the System of a Down concert. If you're looking for a close and convenient hotel for an event at Soldier field this is the place. We walked right to the stadium and back with ease.

For what we paid, this was not a good value, even with the convenient location to soldier field. First, there was a smoke detector light right above the bed. Why would they not put it by the door, I have no idea, but it made it hard to fall asleep. Second, the bed was not comfortable. The sheets were pretty rough and the bed was cheap and uncomfortable. We usually stay at hampton inns because their beds are comfortable, and we expected the beds here to be at least as comfortable as there. We both slept terribly and that outweighs the location asset.

Only complaint, and it’s not a small one, is that upon arriving back at the hotel after a concert, my reason for staying, I found that there is not one vending machine to find a bottle of water. No waters in the room for purchase and the shop closes at 11. For a premium hotel, I find the lack of any beverage vending options at night a big problem,

Was highly disappointed with this hotel. For the price this is not worth coming to. The location is great dont get me wrong but for the price I would not stay here. I'm a loyal hilton member but I would not stay at this location again. The first thing that happened was I was rudely told by a member of staff that there was no parking. I understand that the parking garage was full but there was no need to raise your voice at me when i was confused at to where to place my car. It was off putting right at the start and put a bad taste in my mouth. The front desk then told me the room I booked wasn't available and all they did was say they waived the resort fees that I didnt know that I had to pay in the first place and then they were on my final bill. Then they had people harassing you in the lobby to buy a package at the hotel in the future and put down a deposit. When im paying this much I dont expect to get harassed to put a deposit down in the lobby. The homeless did less harassing for food on the street than the Hilton employees in the lobby.

I stayed at the Hilton Chicago. Wonderful hotel. They had everything I needed and the location is close to Metro stations. If your preference is to walk it is a short and safe walk to Grant Park, Soldier Field, Field museum, aquarium, Willis tower and Union Station
