Apartments Odin

What a treat it was to stay in Apartment Odin, and felt privileged to stay in this wonderful building which has been a family home since 1925, being renovated in 2022. It is very comfortable and spacious, with the exception of the bathroom which was a bit tight for my 6 foot tall husband. Lovely outside space overlooking the sea and the walls of Dubrovnik, with the fort towering above. The location of the apartment is perfect, with Pile Bay (AKA Blackwater Bay from Game of Thrones) a few moments walk away, less than 5 minutes further on and you reach Pile Gate. Walk in the opposite direction and you reach Beach Sulic within 3 minutes for wonderful swimming under the spectacular Lovrjenac Fort - magical! There are a couple of small grocery stores less than 5 minutes walk away. Will always remember discovering Dubrovnik from the wonderful Apartment Odin!

Location location! This apartment is probably in the best part of town without the inconvenience of being within the walls of the old town. Within a few minutes we could walk through the Pile gate into the old town, a few minutes in the other direction and we were swimming at a charming little beach in the cove next door. The fort was on our doorstep and we had a lovely view over all the rooftops and water from our outdoor patio. Loved the aircon and the apartment was quite roomy. It was nice to be able to get some washing done too - powder supplied. There were also basics in the kitchen like coffee, tea, sugar & oil which I always appreciate. Like everywhere in Dubrovnik expect stairs so pack light.

My husband is tall (190cm) and as he stepped the 3 steps down into the apartment he had to duck every time or hit his head. The shower is also very small. A little ledge to put shampoo on would help as bending down was tricky.

Perfect location just outside the old city gate next to bus stop and information center. Very nice comfortable apartment with well stocked kitchen stuff. Quiet and effective AC.

Shower floor and bottom of shower curtain was kind of dirty. Difficult to find the apartment and a lot of city steps to carry luggage from the bus stop, but well worth it. A bit of noise from apartment above but otherwise well sound insulated.

Fabulous location, close to Old Town and beach, good nearby restaurants and bars Excellent communication from manager and clear directions for check in. The apartment is modern, well presented and clean.

Bathroom poorly ventilated and smelt a bit musty
